Hmm... just use one of the editors with a better user interface (hint hint SCXE or SCMDraft2).

Ah.... In that case, I believe it uses the Starforge Text Syntax. Unfortunately, I don't use it :(.

www.staredit.net should have some tutorials related to it there.

Actually, you're not supposed to have it or be using that.

You're right, it's loaded with bugs. I guess thats why it says PRIVATE ALPHA when you start using it. Because its meant for private testing purposes only, not for you to attach to a forum for everyone to complain about bugs.

If it is in Alpha, it isn't meant to be publicy shown, I advise you remove the attachement.

If that's the Trigedit plugin for SCMDraft 2 as you're implying it to be, just place it inside the "plugins" folder under the folder where you setted that map editor up.
If not and you're just trying to use a suggested alternate map editor, my advise is for ya to check upon the SC Editing Tools (http://www.warboards.org/showthread.php?t=9407) thread and get a newer version of SCMDraft 2, since those already bring that plugin amidst it's files to function properly (read above v0.4.5., I think). ;)

What did ya ended up doing?
- Getting a newer version of that map editor;
or
- Placing the plugin in the right spot. :confused:

Glad to have solved the issue anyway. :) And if haven't said it before already, welcome to WB's.

I had the newest version of scmdraft, but it only had the weird trigger editor that I never could learn how to use. I moved the file into plugins dir and now it has normal triggers.

That's what I though... (hence my asking.) A mix of both. :)

And weird!?! :o Not really, altough it might take a lil' time to get used to (as I kinda did).
