Is there a mystery out there that just has you stunned? For example the pyramids are so intriguing. I mean how did the egyptians built them and how did they have the measurement so exact that it seem like they had a lot of help.....if you get my drift. There are many out there so feel free to share a mystery that has shocked you.

Some people say the Egyptians could fly 2000 years before the Wright brothers. I don't realy care that much for skepticism so I don't think there are very many natural or ancient things that "shock" me =/

Well the egyptians were ast their height more than 2000 years before the wright brothers so either you have the numbers wrong or whoever told you that is full of it.

We actually watched a video in world civ freshman year where they used tools from that time (well not literaly, reproductions of tools) to make one set of three blocks of equivalent size to the largest set in the original structure. My question is how it got knocked down.

What really stunnes me is how this society shaped it self so that you have to go through 12 years of education inorder to feed your self. Its a great msytery, and it will always be.

What I wonder about is what happened 37 000 years ago when suddenly humans went from animals with no direction to true society. Before 37 000 years ago we were like monkeys. After 37 000 years ago, we had language, music, art, trade relations and a real direction to our lives. It's like someone switched the conciousness lightswitch on. But how did that happen, what caused that?

Heres my mystery: How does a computer work? We all know about the parts inside the computer and how they communicate and the importance of each part - but what actually makes those parts work (on the microscopic level). Sure, we press the power button, but when we do that WHY does the computer turn on? How does putting a little amount of elecricity into a circuit board enable a device to decode massive amounts of binary information?
Try to answer this question and I almost guarantee I'll nod and then say "but how does THAT happen?"

How punks/goths claim to be anti-conformist when they all buy their clothes from the same store.
I mean really, wtf?
GrassDragon: Read "The Rebel Sell -why the culture can't be jammed" by Joseph Heath and Andrew Potter. It's a great book which goes into depth about the whole culture-jammers and anti-conformists and how they actually perpetrate the consumerism they are supposedly against. It's an interesting read for sure.

Here's my mystery. How exactly does DNA determine stuff. I mean, it's just a huge-arsed molecule!
EDIT: Oh, right, it shapes proteins. How very awesome :/
DNA sucks.
Ok, here's my real mystery: We all know Spongebob lives in a pineapple under the sea, right? Question: HTF did it get there in the first place? o_O

non-conformity is the new conformity. To be non-conformist now, you gotta throw your own touch into things (Like Chains & Boots with Khaki pants. Outlandish idea but ever so non-conformist. I mean, how many people have seen chains on Khaki pants?)
