How much money can WB raise for the relief effort in New Orleans?
It's simple. PM the amount of any donations you have made recently, and i will add them up and update this thread. This way it's all anonomous and not some sort of competition. Actually, if you want to clang your own cowbell and post your amount to the world, I don't care... as long as you donate! (other forms of donation will be noted also...) :)
The CLANG-O-METER is active!

I've donated $25 so far... I wish I could donate more, but can't. My financial situation sucks more ass than France.

I would donate but just today, in a few hours, i'll be on my way to apply for a job. So no money from me. : (
Though I do wish I could help, at least give them some water.

You can donate at Panera bread?
I think I am going to go there now, and I'll take money with me to donate.
Also: I'd like to add that if any of you are Bungie fans then you might want to check this out: http://bungie.com/News/TopStory.aspx?story=fighttheflood. You can buy a t-shirt, and ALL of the profit will go to the Red cross.

I would donate something, even if it's just water, but I don't live in America (so it would be difficult to send water) and I'm only 15 so I don't have a credit card. All I can do is hope that it turns out alright...
It's quite incredible, the reaction of people to natural disasters. So much money is donated, it's quite heartwarming. It's nice to know that the people of WB are helping those who need it.
I may not be able to donate, but my deepest sympathies go out to everyone caught up in this disaster.

as soon as school starts out school with 2000+ people in it would probably have a donation like last year we raised 28000 dollars for the tsunami thingie yeah so ill be donating to their nice to know people care
I've donated exactly -$15 when I stole the donation jar to pay for my gas.
PS: I was a fan of Christoper Walken before it was cool.

That $15 probably doesn't even pay for a half a tank. And you can expect to pay over $4 a gallon real soon.
I was actually joking... I wouldn't really steal donation money.
But you're right about the $4 a gallon thing. With the exchange rate, gas in Toronto is already at $4.30 a gallon. (3.78 litres to the gallon, $1.35 Canadian per litre, or $5.10 per gallon in Canadian dollars)...

Oh yeah... the Walken would be proud! The WB donation score is rising! :)
I fullfilled my pledge, but not at Panera. I am writing today from Chicago, where I was seeing the Blue Man Group, and coincidentally, they were collecting after the performace, so I dropped my $25 there.
So add Blue Man performances to the donation locations. ;)

I gave a generous donation to the Red Cross at the football game on Saturday...also tonight I sang at a benefit concert that raised several hundreds of dollars. Y'all should not only be willing to spend out of your own pocket but also encourage others to do the same.
My university (Virginia) has also taken in almost one hundred displaced students from Tulane and Loyola for the semester, to allow them to continue their studies and be given shelter.
I am going around my neighborhood collecting donations. It's a pretty good deal. 10% of the money I collect actually goes to N'awlins! See! I have a heart!

My mom bought four shirts from Bungie. That's $60 to the Red Cross. ^_^

Kingscrab: I am only joking... I am not really going around my neighborhood scamming people in the name of Katrina. But I love your gullability! :D

I assumed you were not actually skimming the 10%... but perhaps still collecting donations. You never know... :)
Actually, if you read it again, I said I was skimming 90% and 10% was actually making its way to Katrina victims...
Regardless, I am not out canvassing the neighborhood.

I don't think Panera Bread is a donation location since the Panera Bread at my location doesn't seem to be taking in any donations (Unless your Panera Bread chose to do it, and mine didn't). I'm going to be donating either through my school or at the hospital in which my mom works.
