Currently in the middle of a Guinness Extra Stout. I lost count as to which one it is of the night, but since I started late, I guess maybe it's not that many. and I can still type without hitting bckspace very often, so it's all good.

Alcohol.

It's just this... thing, you know? It's in drinks, in mouthwash, in flammable liquids of all kinds... and it comes in all sorts of flavours and wonderful packages.

And most importantly, it 'fucks you up.'

Fucks you up being a very relative term, of course. Because... despite the scientific definition of it as a depressant, it is actually... a mood magnifier. I won't say enhancer, because that's typically positive, and associated with drugs like marijuana.

Unlike marijuana, alcohol is a mood magnifier. If you're depressed, lonely, and just plain fucking miserable, you'll get even moreso. Therefore, depressed people should not drink, since the lack of inhibition (as one of its effects) may cause you to do something utterly stupid like... blowing your brains out.

As one obviously knows, there is no backpeddling from an action such as that.

However, if you are happy, at a party, and drinking your face off, you are... happy. Or angry, which is actually a very close emotion to being happy. And if your girl was stolen at said party, or someone picked a fight with you which cost you a nice suit or something... even more so.

So alcohol... is a mood magnifier.

That's really all I wanted to say. Since I really don't post here at WB ever, and I'm far too tired to go on.

Well said.

And remarkably more coherent than anything I have ever come up with whilst on the beer. I salute you.
