At work again here folks. get this, she's is whining about her browsing speed. currently her memory is.
32 MB of ram.
Never defragged, scandisked, her startup took 12 minutes just to enter windows shell.
She said that she was faster with AOL, so guess what I did? hehe.
Transferred to sales to switch to AOL.
Some people.

You should make a page, like all the rest of the tech-support-internet-savvy people.

I'm running XP on 512MB and I freak out when my availble memory drops below 128MB. I want to upgrade to 1GB of RAM. Yay for dual channel DDR400 (PC3200, of course).

32mb Ram is not really that bad. Especially if all you do is browse the web. And you have an old OS, like Win95 or 98. The worst part is the 12min startup. Man that shit is the worst.

I coped with a 486/66Mhz and 20MB of RAM.....
I forced it to run Windows 98 (First Edition), Internet Explorer 6 and tried to install WarCraft but then I realised I would first need to remove Windows. >_<

Yeah the computer in my room is a 486 66mhz. Not sure how much ram but probably 32mb. Runs NT 4.0. I use it to play all my old DOS games :)

I nornally have to shut down explorer to start playing WarCraft 3 or Starcraft. It isn't fun... I've set a record for being kicked from games the most, I think.

Lol..... I used to have so much spyware on my old computer and it always crashed when starting up Ad-aware. When it did start up, it took like ages to scan the whole system.....
From 1993 to 1998-99, I used a very old computer. It started up in like 3 minutes. Ran windows 3.11. AOL took about 15 minutes to start up. Just to start. It had 500 mb hard drive, and had 700kb RAM. It was horrible. Lucky for me, it could play most gameboy emulators and surf most sites, as long as it didnt have sound on the website :P It couldn't run SNES emulators. That froe the computer. Lol, an SNES was more powerful than my first computer. How funny is that?
