Advice Wanted

Okay, so about a year ago I hated this game. Abso-freakin-lutely hated it. But now I have The Frozen Throne and I can not get enough of it. (Although if Blizzard would implement the ladder and tournament play like this into StarCraft it would be a GGNORE with SC as the victor. :P)

Okay, so I suck. Badly. But I've been getting better with practice. In today's standard 1 vs 1 tournament, I was 4 - 4 in the preliminaries. I was doing great, won 3 in a row but then I ran into a brick wall. Orc vs Orc. I can not do it. What the hell should I do?

I usually go FS first, that failed. So I figured it's basically who has more Grunts who wins this battle so TC with the endurance aura would help my grunts be better than the other guys. Well that didnt work for me either. :(

So I lost each time I faced an Orc player, that was three times. My fourth loss was against an Undead who's spawn point was right next to me so I was just overwhelmed by so many ghouls I was screwed. I'm sure there was something I could have done tho, like spiked barricades. I should have got the upgrade but I didn't think of it.

hmm wow theres a lot of stuff u should work on, some of the biggest things would be to fix your build order in the beginng, so u get a grunt and a hero out at the same time, another thing i noticed was lack of hh, these guys must be used to get an orc win.

use this strat to fix up where the flaws are in your game
ps. i dont mean to sound mean or anything and im sorry if i came off that way but yeah use this strat and it will give you a good idea of what to do and what to build

You should find an strategy to get massive grunts fast, i alway do this:

1. Get all your peons in the mine, and queue 2 from town hall to the mine too.
2. The 3rd peon out of the mine, to build th Altar.
3. The 6th peon to build an burrow near your mine.
4. As sonn as you get 180 gold, get a peon from the mine to build a Barracks.
5. Keep getting peons till you have 9 of them.
6. Last peon to wood, an the peons that built to wood too..
7. Get FS from Altar, 2 grunts and go creep fast never stay in your base wasting time.
8. When u get 40 wood build another burrow, always keep building them they are very necesaty.
9. Get a Voodoo Lounge (Very Needed to heal and buy Speed Spell)
10. ASAP build another barrack, then a War Mill, by this time you should be at level 2, with like 4-5 Grunts, now you can attack your opponent, always put shorcut keys to your structures so you don´t get your vision out of the battle and put rally point of your units to the hero.

By this time you should know what to do, if you´re a good W3 player you should know that you have to get that Shadow Hunter before the other player so you can heal your units, and overrun him.

If you don´t like this strat it´s ok but it worke fine for me a lot of times.
PD. Don´t ever let your opponent expand, alway scout with Spirit wolves, and buy potions of mana, they are very necesary to strike and heal... ;)

I woud try to set all peons i the mine and make 3 new. but first make one make 1-2 burrows and 1 barrak and 1 altar and make at least 4 grunts and a hero.
2 off the peons you make get lumber and the last one builds
