Hi. I'm new here.

I've played Starcraft from the day it came out (single player). I remember several maps that were put together like a story. One was about a group of Arbiters rebelling (my favorite story). I cant find any of these mini games on the internet, do they still exist? Anyone know where to find them? Are they somewhere on this site?

Welcome to WBs :)

I'm not sure if the map was uploaded into this board (most likely not), but you might have better luck in www.starcraft.org map archives. Of course, if you actually know the name of the map, it would really speed up your search. So you've played starcraft the day it was released eh...wow...

In the maps pages, I only find single maps. I think you may be misunderstanding what I am saying. What I am looking for is a series of maps you play in order that are linked by scripted mission briefings, there just werent any cinematics. It was almost like Broodwar, where the mission briefings told a story. The maps had defined objectives and the enemies had defined objectives of their own (not just kill you). There were a couple real nice stories I had downloaded, but lost them in the years of computer changes and crashes. Anyone seen any of these types of maps?

In particular, the Arbiter story had these renegade Arbiters that had broken off from the Protoss for whatever reason and in the last map, you had to destroy these guys. There were 10 or so Arbiters with a crapload of cloaked support Carriers waiting for you at their base and it was one of the hardest single player maps I remember playing. These mini games I am describing were like free expansions. Kinda like what Hellfire was for Diablo (except Hellfire wasnt free).

You might have played a campaign. You can check out The Star Alliance (http://www.samods.org/) or Campaign Creations (http://www.campaigncreations.org). They used to have a lot more, but were taken down. You can try asking in their forums if you can't find it.
