Keeper of the Grove all the way, except for the fact that this thread is called 'What's your favourite map?' and not 'What's your favourite hero?'. Entangling Roots is my favourite spell in the entire game, and his ultimate has a 30 second cooldown (once you've finished using it, it's 1 minute in total and lasts for 30 seconds), so considering that it's a pretty handy spell in team games, bargain hero!.

"meant not" to say is probably easier to pick up on a quick glance then "mean't" but anyway.

Demon Hunter - I always use him as NE, with a POTM. His Mana burn is awesome, especially on hero rushers. His ultimate is awesome, because it gives him chaos damage.

Lich is my fav. all the way...great for demolishing enemy buildings..not to mention nuking

If anything, thats a disadvantage.

Can I ask you how seleted the heroes to appear on that list - and not the others? There are good heroes that aren't there

There's a maximum of 10 poll options on each poll, so it's down to the person who makes the poll which heroes they stick in.

beast master his stamped move is good for clusters and buildings and for killing lines of units if the person that made the map made units build really really fast

Favorite to play with, or play against? Because everybody loves to use the DH, he requires no skill and is entirely too strong; I love using him. But when I'm not playing with NE and my opponent shows up with a DH, I want to fucking nuke their computer. There's only two heroes that counter him, and that's the Dreadlord or the Blademaster. Everybody else is pretty much fucked.

As for underused heroes, I think the Pitlord qualifies. He's a bad man.

Only verses low-levels or extreme cases will Starfall destroy an entire enemy army.

1) Run away
2) Use sleep, stun, entangling roots, cyclone...... easy to stop.

Anyways, I just won a match using no racial heroes, but using a Dark Ranger against the humans. I found it by far better then NE racial heroes, but thats just me.

Dark Ranger is a pretty cool hero. I beat a Level 31 Orc player (friend of mine) with it once, through sheer determination with the DR (because I felt like something different than BM/FL!). He attacked my base a a number of times and I still managed to own him. Why? Because skeletons have normal attack damage vs raiders, so they have a slight advantage. And also my connection sucks, so he couldn't micro. And also, Orc vs NE is majorly imbalanced. But hey, I still beat him. :D Slowly, as you Focus-Fire their army, the skeletons will turn the battle for you. Infact it was a pretty good replay, I'll post it here.

P.S. Look at the amount of skellies tanking for the ranged units at the end in his base.
