question 2
the way i see it there are 4 types of people on mmorpg's: hard core reg, avg joe, hard core account sellers, and the buyers. it seems that the buying and selling of accounts is becoming more wide spread. as it spreads i see the avg joe demographic shrinking severely and the hard core reg also decreasing to a degree. and why should they play when someone can by an ultamit account/item?

question 3
i dont really agree with a separate channel. i think this secondary market shouldnt exist at all. but as long as they keep these channels separate and allow honest players their area w/o selling then it could be ok.

Question 2: Sadly, i doubt that people will ever stop indulging in these activities, and with the number of people doing so is very high and increasing, I think that more people shall be tempted to go down that road.Option 4

Question 3: I think that separate channels is a mistake. What it means is that the companies are officialy are sending out the message "Sure we made a game, but if you are rich you can get sooo much better at it than the others.." Option 7

I actually had thought that going with the theme of this survey, it might have been more suited in the arcade forum or perhaps the Entertainment forum, but since it closes in two days time I wanted to maximize the number of people who voted ;)
But yeah I realize that stickying two more thread to the lounge will clutter it up , but if you can allow that for two days that would be great ^^". Anyhow, if you relocate them then that's perfectly fine too :).No issues.
The stickying would be a great help in maintaing the order of voting^_^

3. How is offering trading channels going to affect gameplay? Trading has always been a big part of MMOs as far as I know.
