Help me with disconnection

hi, I am very tired of getting disconnected from games. it gets kinda boring after the first 30 times... Someone please help me to get rid of this problem...

Can you list some computer and connection specs, including your operating system?

my computer is a xp 2700+.
512 mb ddr ram.
geforce 4800 titanium..

I use windows XP.

I almost forgot I have a 712/128 kb connection..

I get it from the this service company: telenor.

- Do disconnects happen in every online game you play?
- Do they seem to happen at set intervals, or are they completely random?
- Have you made sure that your computer doesn't have any viruses/trojans/etc that could be causing you to be disconnected?
- Have you tried reinstalling any games that are disconnecting?

1. I only play warcraft 3 online. the other game I used to play was anarchy, and I never got disconnected there..

2. they often come completely random. but sometimes they come after 15 min. and some after 3 min..

3.I have checked for viruses and trojans , I have no one for the moment..

4. I have tryed reinstalling it a large amount of times now. it doesn't work..

It is either A: Your processor crapping out or
B: Your connection crapping out

I would try contacting your ISP and ask them if anything would be adversely affecting traffic on ports 6112-6119 TCP and UDP. Because the problems only happen with warcraft3 and not other games, it's most likely your connection.

Also, have you tried connecting to different gateways to see if the problem persists there?
