View Full Version : Laranor's Quest: A Fantasy RP
Okay people. I’ve been writing a novel recently, and it is set in a fantasy world. As for the history, this is direct from the story, with a little alteration to fit the situation.
A great war took place about 1000 years ago. There were many kinds of demons then, and the Ja’Tai were the absolute worst. Their skin was made of black bone, harder than steel. There were very large, somewhere in the area of 7 feet tall, and were stronger than any 3 men. Their fingers ended in long claws, and their weapons burned with an unholy black flame. Their eyes were pure hellfire, and none could hide from them. Even more terrifying than those warriors of hell, were the Ja’Tai’s magic wielders. Their power was immense, and they channeled it with ease. They were an unstoppable horde of darkness, and one thousand years ago they began to swarm over the Kingdom. They burned and pillaged everywhere they went, killing most, torturing anyone else. They were brutal and ruthless. They conquered all who stood before them, all except one…
The Ja’Tai had massed outside the capital city of Salopor, Salopor City, and were laying siege. It was only a matter of time before the city fell, and the entire world collapsed into darkness. But just when all hope had faded, a warrior appeared, wielding a blade that burned with Holy Flame. His armor shone like a bastion of hope and good, and the warriors of humanity knew that their savior had come. He is known as the Archangel…He stood before the bloodthirsty demons with courage and valor. He thrust his sword into the air, its holy power blinding the evil demons. A strange light fell over Salopor City, and angelic choir music was heard. From the sky, warriors with wings swooped upon the Ja’Tai, and the battle was joined. The Divine Warriors had come. Blood was spilled that day, human, demon, and divine being alike. The war raged, and magic exploded onto the field from both sides. There was final, cataclysmic battle between the Archangel and the Demonlord Ferag’ha’non. The battle between these two titans raged across the entire landscape, eventually reaching the border of the Kingdom, where the Ja’Tai first began their flood. Wit a mighty blow the exhausted Archangel struck down Ferag’ha’non, and banished him forever. The resulting cataclysmic explosion of energy ripped apart the landscape leaving a barren wasteland at the edge of the Kingdom. The Barren Wasteland came to be known as the Expanse. The Divine Warriors then passed from the world, with no explanation as to who they were or why they came.
As you may have gathered from the story, there are some main areas. Mentioned in the history are: Salopor City and the Expanse. Here are all the locations:
Salopor City: Capital City of Salopor, seat of the King
Palan: Neighboring nation to Salopor, they are neutral terms with each other. Home of the Orcs
Tala’Kun: Magical forest on the eastern border of Salopor and Palan. Home of the Druids and the remaining Elves
Academy of Warriors: Nestled in the Daggerpeak Mountains, most freelance warriors, and all military personnel are trained here for Salopor.
Rylar Plains: Wide, flat plains, this is a common gathering place for Archers.
Tower of Sorcery: The training place of non-elven and non-orcish magic-users
Daggerpeak Mountains: These mountains are littered with caverns and are the western border of Salopor. These mountains give way to the Expanse.
The Expanse: Rumoured to be the location of the portal that brought the Ja’Tai to this world, it is a burning desert that only the reckless brave. They never get far before returning, when they do, which isn’t common
This RP takes place 1000 years AFTER that war. Laranor, the King of Salopor, has issued a call to all warriors from Salopor, Palan, and everywhere else for that matter, to come to Salopor City for a special Quest. All players have seen these, and you start from your starting location (you cannot start in Salopor City) and are making your way to the city. (Don’t worry about contradicting yourself in directions or locations or anything, I really don’t care. No matter what, you will magically (lol) end up in Salopor.) Once everyone is at Salopor, you will meet Laranor (who will be played by me at the time), and he will give you the Quest for this RP. Now, for your Characters.

Gender: Male
Class: Druid
Weapons: Polished Oak Staff, Throwing knives
Armor: Leather-Chain Mail hybrid armor under a cloak made of wolf and bear skin.
Steed: Fenrir the Giant Wolf
Starting Location: Palan
Bio: As a child, Bloodlust was an outcast because of who he was. His father had raped a human girl years before and kept her as his until she'd born him a child and got bored of her. Then, after about 5 years of raising his son, Bloodlust's father got bored with Bloodlust and abondoned him. The half-orc outcast was later captured by a group of humans and was dsold into slavery. His last master gave him the name Bloodlust, thinking of all the steriotypical names for orcs. Later, the kind master let Bloodlust free after he'd worked hard. In honor of the man, Bloodlust deicded to keep his name. Soon, Bloodlust became interested in magic and wanted to be a mage. But then he learned of another magic being called a druid. Druid magic truely fasinated Bloodlus, more than the mage. So Bloodlust trained and wroked hard to become a druid, eventualy succeeding. Now heads to Salopor City.

Name: Xuther Exodus
Race: Human (more specific: Asian)
Gender: Male
Class: Warrior
Weapons: Samurai Sword, assorted throwing knives.
Armor: Samurai Armour
Steed (Pet): Hawk
Starting Location: AoW (Academy of Warriors).
Bio: Xuther was raised to be proud of his culture, and he definitely is. He still wears his full Samurai armour when in battle, which makes him stand out against the mostly steel wearing comrades. But since he is a Captain of his own scouting squad, and a very known warrior and Elder, he is treated with the utmost respect.
He was raised by his father Andris Exodus and his mother Crysta Exodus in the AoW. His father was Captain of the "grunts" as they were nicknamed. The Grunts were the crack troops that led most of the assaults as well as a few other squads. His mother was a beautiful women who wrote many books in her spare time, most of which received many compliments and are still in the national library as one of the top reads. Her books were mainly on nature, the culture of AoW and some about the history of the world.
Xuther now lives in his own house, but visits his parents often. He is Elder on the council of AoW, but rarely attends anything because of his military status, but he does intend the more important ones and is listened to with the attention of the whole assembly.
Name: Shenktar (SHENK - tar)
Race: Full Elf
Gender: Male
Class: Mage (More of a mix between Archer and Mage. Minimal battle skills, more suited to healing and bow spells.)
Weapons: Short bow, Long bow. Short bow is usually with him. When he feels the need, he puts his short bow away, and brings his long bow. More distance and power, but slower reloads. Basically, better for range.
Armor: Light leather. Not meant for full battle, and usually likes to travel light.
Pet: Jaeta (JAY - ta) His pet baby dragon. He keeps it near him. It has recently learned to fly. Eventually, it will grow into a larger dragon. He has tamed it after four years. Finally able to follow basic commands, and has little speech. Also, when enraged, it is able to grow about 5 times it's size, which is large enough for it to be ridden upon by Shenktar and one other comrade. This enraged form allows it more power, speed, agility, but only lasts a short while.
Starting Location: Tala’Kun outskirts. He lives alone just outside the city. Still within forest, but on his own.
Bio: Alone for three years training, he goes about the forest, correcting any errors with theivery, injustice, and the like. He does this in a kind way, though, as he doesn't just kill whoever is commiting a crime, but talks them down. Shenktar has trained his dragon for about four years now, and has taught it minimal speech and the like. His only companion, he wouldn't let anything happen to Jaeta. He takes great pride in his bows, and crafts them himself. Given to him, was a great quiver of arrows. With it, he charmed it with his light magic, and gave it the power to always have arrows within. He has spells for healing and arrow enchants. He can enchant not only arrows, but swords, spears, and the like as well for limited times with elements. Currently, he has the spells of fire, water, light, and the forest. He has been learning slowly the ways of the darkness, thunder, and Earth. As it is, his spells don't last long, but when active, they are an asset. But his biggest help is his healing spells. After many years of practice, he has mastered the art of healing himself and others. He has recovered from near fatal wounds countless times, and has lived far longer than almost any Dlf in the land. Shenktar's motive for this quest, is that the elder of the forest told him of this great war. ST (His nickname among the elves) was proud of his ancestory, and insists on making himself worthy as the past warriors. He has trained all his life for such a thing, and with the announcement of all great warriors to come together, he feels that now is the time.

(Wow best RP I've seen since The Secret of Su Yi ;). And seeing how I have not had a real chance to play a mage.)
Name: Sean
Race: Human
Gender: Male (I think I set a real bad trend with Brianne.)
Class: Mage
Weapons: Silver Dagger, flail
Armor: Chain Mail
Equipment: four bottles, rope, 2 flint stones, cross, piece of wrought iron, scroll with religious markings.
Starting Location: Tower of Sorcery.
Bio: Sean spent most his life in a monastery. Originally he sought to be a priest, but he soon learned his true calling has a mage of the light. He began to study the base properties of mage and the fifth essence itself. Blessing items with holy incantations became his specialty, but he has also become an adept healer. When Sean heard of Laranor's call he quickly set out to seek his destiny.
(Uh-oh look out Doom is playing a good guy this time around, bet nobody saw that coming.)

I just hav 1 question:What race is the king?
King Laranor is human. Salopor city is essentially a human city. Here is my Character. My character is a kind of special character. He is a special class, which I restricted because in this world they are rare and I didn't want spammage of them. Instead, I got mage spam lol
Name: Brenis de Enrenak
Race: Human, 25 years old
Gender: Male
Class: Paladin
Weapons: Longsword, Spear, small curved blade attached to the back of his waist

He was immediately taken in as a Ward of the State, and rose to become a Paladin. He is Laranor's right hand and best friend. He also has a high position in the military, being one of it's commanders. As a Paladin, he has the ability to cast Holy Spells. Paladin's arose in tribute and in honor of the Archangel who saved Salopor long ago. The Order of Paladins is one of the most respected groups in the world, and Brenis is the best of the best.

(OOC: If there is anything wrong with my character Ender, then tell me and I'll fix it :p)
Name: Zyanya
Race:Human
Age: 23
Gender: Female
Class: Warrioress/Queen
Weapons: Sword, two small daggers, staff
Armor: Purple and silver armor like Trinity's (Good ol ages RPG)
Steed: Cloud (Horse)
Starting Location: Daggerpeak Mountains
Bio: Zyanya is in fact a Queen of a prosperous kingdom outside of King Laranor's kingdom. She is disguised as a warrior so as to not cause disruption to the people who live here. She would rather pretend that she is a commoner than go through all the proper ettiquete that a Queen must face everyday of her life.
While Zyanya is away her brother, Prince Xeo, is ruling in her stead. As Zyanya travel's about, she finds herself at the daggerpeak mountains inside of a tavern sipping some flavored carbonated water.
(OOC: If the Queen thing is too much, let me know :D)
(OOC:Hmmm... Checking your class, I see you picked a Palidain, but really, his special is casting holy spells. This includes healing... Should I do away with my healing spells, or am I fine? I learned it from mages that traveled through the forest, and the enemies I encountered. More of my history could be 'To pay for crimes against me, wanderers had to pay a price, or help me with something, be it teaching a spell, or a small fee. Eventually I let them go.' or something, so really, I could have been taught healing or something... o.O Whatever your call is, though...
~Larry "Geno" Meyers
--Edit-- My bad, forgot my OOC... Guess even experienced people forget it... o.O --End edit--)
PC- Your character is great. She is quite unique, which is good. All systems are go.
Geno-Keep your healing spells. My character will have offensive and defensive spells, blasting dark creatures with Holy Light, or creating shields and such around allies. We can also say that only the most powerful Paladins can use their powers to heal. I think that solves it good, don't you?
Alright guys, my character doesn't really enter to story until ya'll get to Salopor. So, START YOU ENGINES...errr...legs...and head to Salopor. GO!

Bloodlust the Half-Orc Druid rides through Palan on his trusty steed, Fenrir the Giant Wolf. He wants to get there as fast as possible. He and his steed will not eat, will not sleep, only head twards their goal. They must get there quickly.
Shenktar begins his quest. He calls his pet, and readies himself for the journey.
"Jaeta! Where are you?! Come here! You're going to be late for our departure!"
A faint cry is heard... And then a rush flies through the room. Jaeta lands in front of Shenktar, and yelps...
"Sowwy Shenktaw"
"It's alright... No worries, as we have time still. Do whatever you need to do, for we leave in an hour."
"Awight!"
Jaeta has a slight speech problem, but Shenktar has been working with her for a while. She seems so cheerful, even in the most desperate situations. Even through all of the pain, trial, and torture they have gone through, she still has hope for life.
"Now where did I put my bows at... I left them on my rack, but I moved them... Where did I put them again...? (OOC: Mumbling this)"
"I tink you weft them ovew in youw (Pronounced 'Yo'... Remember to try and sound out dragon's speech... It will get better through the RP, don't worry ;)) chest in da dwar!"
"Ah, yes! That's right! Thanks Jaeta. (As he opens the chest, and picks up his bows...) Let's get our food ready. Almost time. I can feel the dawn coming upon us. We leave with the sunrise."
They continue to ready themselves. About fourty-five minutes pass, and they are ready. They have a nice, hearty meal with each other, and then are ready to set out.
"Remember, Jaeta, there is no turning back once we start. I think you are old enough to come with me, but be careful. Don't do anything I wouldn't if we get seperated, and don't be rude. Always use manners. Hero's aren't known for being mean (He grins). We must show them that we are friendly."
"Awight!"
"Ancestors, watch over us through our long journey, and keep us safe."
"Kateth!"
"Kateth!"
They jump from their house, high in the trees (OOC: Yay! A treehouse! Oh, that reminds me, will we ever revisit our homes? I have an idea for if we return... ;)). They see the sunrise, and dart off towards their objective, the town of Salopor. Over the next five days, they will encounter strange people, and odd things. They know not of what is out there, but they fully expect to take it head on. Hopefully, other heros from the land are going to be there as well. They only hope that all of them are as friendly and forgiving as they are...

Name: Ragathol
Race: Gnome
Gender: DUDE!
Class: Melee warrior w00t!
Weapons: Cute daggers with an ultra pretty mini-shield :)
Armor: Leather chest/back plate with metal rings around his wrists, leather riding chaps, and boots with jangling spurs (Howdy do ma'am :p )
Steed: Ragathol needs no steed!
Starting Location: Chillin in his crib down south near the beach
Bio: Raised in a merchant family, he learned on how to reach people on a personal level thus giving him incredible magnetism even to those smelly dwarves who have always had something of a grudge against their distant cousions the gnomes! His family, extremely successful in what they did, purchased a nice hole-da-ground (slang in gnomish for burrow) and has lived peacefully with other gnome families in a quiet gnome village called "Da Beach." (Jamaican accent mandatory!)
Here, all the pretty gnome ladies sunbathe in skanty bikini's on the exquisite sand near the Great Ocean. Ragathol himself has gotten around town to put it mildly and desired for something more than a pleasant existance. This adventurisitic spirit got him quickly booted out of town by the evil mayor, Usqopoexideix. His name, incredibly complex due to his dull nature (vanity *rolleyes*), gave him a day to wrap up his affairs (a long and ardurous quest in itself) and pack up his belongings.
Surprisingly enough, the local magistrate for, "Da Beach," a mellow kind of guy who spent most of his time growing seven-leafed plants (ten points for who guesses what!) invited him over for a "special going away present" and an invitation to a great meeting of warriors in the grand city of Salapor, Salopor City.
Ragathol, unaquainted with fighting skills, paled at the prospect of there not being many gnome women in the city for him to meet being it a primarily human city, but steeled himself up for it anyways packing as well a few weapons that he had alleviated the burden off from the nasty Usqopoexideix armoury a few weeks before.
We meet Ragathol nearing the magistrates house.

Beluril asked him how he survived as Bog Imps are the most dangerous species of Imp in the mountains.Chin just shook his head and burped.
(OoC: A little magic rip off I see, though I would like to point out that bog imps live in bogs not mountains.)
Sean packed hurried to pack his things eager to adhere to Laranor's call. He only took with him the bare necessities, which interestingly included everything he owned. It seemed very unlikely he would return to these monastery walls. His good-byes had already been said to the few friends and mentors he had. Now he merely made sure the room was as tidy as it had been when he received it. Gripping the iron cross around his neck Sean said a short prayer.
Sean: May your light show me the path of righteousness now and always.
With that Sean pulled the silver dagger out of his door and left to embark on his quest.
ooc: Awesome, Sub has joined. This RP has just gotten a lot better.
Tanain, I would prefer that you DIDN'T have anything to do with the last war. I messed up man, I forgot to mention that the Elves have almost been wiped out in my world...so sorry...they were supposed to have been devestated by the last war, all the adults died and only their children which were safe in Tala'kun survived...god I totally forgot to say that. The adults died because they were linked to the earth, which was scourged by the demonic assault. The land was poisoned, so the adults died off and all that is left is the few elven children (elves don't have many kids because of their long life spans)...Jeez I forgot that in the beginning...everything else is good though thanks... I should also confirm what Sub said, about the Light magic hating you for your Dark magic. Unless you are a Dark Elf, you would not be using Dark magic. That's kind of a given in any fantasy world, and while I respect you creativity, you character is going to have a rough time of it, especially from my guy. Paladin's were created to fight against Dark/Demonic powers, and your character is such a thing. You would be worse, however, because you are a NON-Demon, and thus should not, in my eyes, be using the Dark powers. If you want to deal with it, then by all means, go ahead, it could make for some interesting story-telling.

"I assume you will be going on that Quest of the Kings?"
"Yes, Jess. But I will do it quietly, not everyone needs to know one of the council has left" said Xuther, giving Jess a grin.
"Should I pack?" said Jess. Jess was a friend of Xuther's since he was a mere baby, they were both part of the same culture, and therefore got along well. Xuther was her best friend, and acted like a big brother to her, always giving her advice when she needed it, and always a shoulder to lean on if she needed to.
"You know I wouldn't let you come" Xuther chuckled. "You might be harmed, and then what would I tell your father?"
"I know, I know, but it was worth a try" she said, smiling. She stood up off of the low seats in Xuther's bedroom. When he finished packing he turned to her and gave her a hug, which they held for some time. "May your heart guide you and your sword protect" she whispered as they broke from the hug.
"Thankyou, give my best to your father. As well as Kutsu, Meja, Reon, and the others" said Xuther, pulling the heavy pack onto his back. They walked out together to his porch. She stood aside while he pulled out an odd wooden instrument which he blew into. No sound came out, yet Xuther waited.
Soon the flutters of a birds wing could be heard as Sit'su, Xuthers Hawk, flew down to Xuthers call. "There you are" said Xuther soothingly, lightly petting the top of Sit'sus head.
"Don't do anything I wouldn't do" said Xuther to Jessica before walking off.
"Aww, I'll have no fun then" she side, pretending to whine.
"Bye" chuckled Xuther as he walked off, down the backtrails, into the setting sun.
(OOC: I'm going to speed up time a little for me alone. All of your next posts can lead up to your first night. Make sure, though, that we will all arive at about the same time... o.O)
"Jaeta, it's time to set up camp. It's getting dark, and colder by the second."
"I undewstand. Lets west heew!"
Shenktar grabs the bag off of his back, and lays it out. He then asks Jaeta to gather some sticks from around the area, to prop up the large cloth. It will act as their tent for the night. After about an hour, Shenktar becomes worried of Jaeta not returning. He sets of in an easterly direction, only to find Jaeta face to face with a larger dragon! Shenktar swings the long bow from his back, loads and arrow, and fires. Jatea sees the arrow from afar, and darts quickly across the sky. The dragon moves it's head to turn to see him, but Jaeta has tricked him! He led the dragon's neck into the arrow's trajectory. The arrow lands, taking down the dragon in one swift blow. Jaeta then picks up the sticks below, and flies to Shenktar.
"Sowwy that took so wong..."
"It's OK. As long as you're safe, that's all that matters."
They go back to their camp, set up the rest of their supplies, and fall asleep on the second night. Three days to go, until they reach their destination.

"Time to jam!" Says Zyanya to her horse Cloud. She takes her sword and puts it in the pack on Cloud's back.
Cloud neighs.
"Yup, we're goin' to Salopor City Cloud. The King has requested all warriors to come--I'm going!" Says Zyanya happily.
Cloud neighs and stamps his foot. Zyanya pats his neck and looks straight at him with a goofy grin.
"Whattya mean I'm no warrior? Hey, just cuz I'm a queen don't mean that I can't fight. Maybe the next time we get attacked by trolls I should just let them eat you instead of protect you huh? You remember what happened last time! I protected your butt!" says Zyanya as she laughs.
Cloud snorts.
"Yeah that's what I thought. Well, no matter! I am positive that you have rested well. Let's get going!" Says Zyanya as she jumps on top of the saddle and taps her heels into Cloud's side.

Ragathol arm was getting tired from the amount of waving he had been doing. It seemed like every corner he turned, there was always some ladies wishing him well and blowing him kisses. Bloodlust and Fenrir continue to zoom through the lands of the orcs. They head south-east. (ooc: I'm headed for Geno. :D)
Before they left, Bloodlust remembered how much food he and Fenrir ate and how much they worked so they wouldn't have to stop and eat durring the journey and also so they wouldn't go slow with all the food in their bellies. Bloodlust and Fenrir continued to race to their destination. Soon, they'd raced through 2 days. They were making progress, not that far to go.

Sit'su flew lazily overhead as Xuther walks below on a dirt path. They have been travelling for the last 10 hours, and still show no sign of letting up. Xuther was always able to go on even when low on energy, and right now he was still high on it. He had eaten lots of food before his journey so he would not have to set up camp as much.
Set'su on the other hand made plenty of hunting detours, but always returned to Xuther, usually to his shoulder while he chowed down on a rat or mouse.
Xuther's hand rested half conciously on the hilt of his Samurai sword, partly out of routine, but one could never be to careful. His thoughts wandered as he walked the lonely path that would take him across several miles until finally reaching the Kings kingdom.
What could the King want us to do? Is this just another "claim some land in my name and I'll give you some of the land for your own uses" or is it an actual quest, with something more useful and with a point to doing. Maybe those foul beings from the depths of hell have shown their faces once more?
No, we would know by now if something that grand had happened. Then perhaps there are raiders tearing across his northern towns, or dragons terrorizing his western kingdom, I hear they live in the mountains. Dragons, now that would be a beast I would like to fight, they have such honour in their ways, and such wisdom.

Zyanya and Cloud have been riding most of the day, only stopping to eat but then continuing on. It is already nightfall, and Zyanya isn't tired yet. She's too excited to be tired.
Looking up at the full moon she smiles, she loves the night sky.
"Well Cloud, a few more days and we'll be in Salopor City in no time!" Exclaims Zyanya.
Cloud neighs. Zyanya looks down at him and strokes his neck. She answers him. "How the heck would I know what the King wants? All I know is that he needs warriors, hey maybe we can get some action in before we get to the city--For some reason, trolls are drawn to us and always try to eat us." :)
All of a sudden, Zyanya hears some rustling in the bushes beside her and sees two pairs of yellow eyes--Trolls! Zyanya laughs and dismounts off of Cloud. Cloud neighs loudly--He's ready to help defend Zyanya. Zyanya pulls out her sword and looks over at Cloud, "See what I mean?!" She says jokingly.
The two trolls lunge at her.

As Fenrir and Bloodlust ride on, they cross a bridge into a half-dead forest. Bloodlust remembers, this is the land were Palan and Tala’Kun meet. He continues to ride his pet when suddenly, 3 Trolls pop out from behind dead trees. BLoodlust quickly pulls out his Oak Staff and whacks 2 of the 3 as he goes by. He then circles around and throws his Orcish throwing knives, hitting the still standing Troll. Fenrir tramples another Troll on the gorund. The remaining Troll tries to get up and run, but Bloodlust throws his Staff with deadly accuracy, hitting the back of the Troll's head. The Troll become disoriented and Bloodlust throws another throwing knife, killing the Troll. He collects his knives, grabs his staff, and continues on his journey.
***
Hours later, Bloodlust is riding through the Tala’Kun Forest. Fenrir and Bloodlust had trained themselves the fallowing weeks to be able to go for long periods without sleep. They continued through when they came to a small camp. In this camp was an Elf and a small Dragon. Fenrir slowed as to not wake them. Bloodlust decided to give Fenrir a rest for a moment. Bloodlust noticed it was still dark out, so he waited. Fenrir took a couple of naps durring the resting period. Then, once the sun was high in the sky, Bloodlust noticed the small dragon was starting to stir. Bloodlust and Fenrir stood a distance away, not moving at all.

Dragons, now that would be a beast I would like to fight, they have such honour in their ways, and such wisdom.
"So, what is someone like you doing in our territory?" said a young man as he stepped out of some bushes to Xuther's right. Four other young, but strong looking men flanked the first. They were all blond haired and had brownish eyes, and those eyes. They had the flame, the need to fight, and to prove themselves.
"This is...your territory?" Xuther asked patiently. His hand falling on the handle of his sword.
"Yes it is, and I don't think we said you could come through, ain't that right guys" said the first boy.
"Yea that's right Paul,” said one of the larger boys.
"So, Paul, what will I have to do so I can pass?" Xuther said, his hand still resting on the handle of his sword. Set'su flew down and landed in a tree above the group, scanning them for the weakest of the bunch.
"Well, I believe we will first kill you, since we didn't allow you to pass. And then we'll take your nice armour and whatever else you may have as payment for our troubles" said Paul, his hand going to a ornate short sword at his side, stolen from another traveler.
"You see Paul, that's a problem. I have to be at the King's kingdom soon, for a very important matter. Therefore I'll give you a choice: a) you and your buddies can leave me, untouched and leave or b) we settle this the hard way, and you all go to the gates of hell by morning.
"What's it going to be Paul. And remember to choose wisely" said Xuther, his hand pulling his sword out. His sword shined as it came out into the light, such a long time it had been kept away in the darkness of the sheath. It rang out as if in a war cry, chilling its enemies to the bone.
"Get him!" Paul yelled as he withdrew his short sword. His buddies ran towards Xuther, but one stopped short and began to shriek as Set'su landed on his head and began knawing at his eyes.
Paul went to try and slice through Set'su, but Set'su had already rose into the air. Paul staggered back as his hand fell limply from his sword, the sword that now rose out of his friends eye. The friend, no longer alive, fell to the ground with a sickly thud.
The other friends, oblivious to the death behind them, ran forth towards Xuther, intent on showing the man the error of his ways.
"May you forgive me ancestors" mumbled Xuther spiritually before he leapt back out of the way of one of the boy’s daggers. Another boy came from the right and tried to drive his dagger through Xuthers belly, but Xuther side-stepped at the last moment, bringing his sword around from the left and up through the boys neck. The boy’s head slid off of its body, rolling off into the darkness.
Xuther ducked as another dagger leapt out at his head, it went through the air above his head and stopped suddenly as it clanged into Xuther's sword. With his sword held up straight above him, and Xuther kneeling down, the boy realized his defeat seconds before it happened. Xuther kicked out the boy’s legs, bringing him to the ground.
Zing.
Blood flowed freely from the second dead boy’s stomach as he lay in the dirt of the path. Xuther turned to the last friend of Pauls who was desperate now. He flailed out his dagger, trying to sink it into his enemy’s skin.
Xuther sidestepped to the right and in one motion swung his sword around, knocking the boy’s dagger out of his numbing hands. The dagger went up into the darkening sky. It flashed once as it came to the top of its flight, the moons light reflecting off of it's cold deadly body. As it arced back down, Xuther caught it in his left hand and stabbed it through its owners neck.
The boy fell to his knees clawing at the knife blocking his airway. He gasped as he lost consciousness, his last thought was of the mistake he made this night, and how much he loathed Paul now.
Paul staggered back from Xuther, his eyes following the fluid motions of the Samurai sword as it cut a path through the air, singing out it's war cry. Paul closed his eyes as he accepted the inevitable. But the sword's war cry suddenly stopped. Paul slowly opened his eyes to Xuthers deep blue eyes.
"My child you have led these friends of yours into a battle they could not win. Because of what you have just done, I will not give you the freedom of death, you will instead have to live on with this on your shoulders" said Xuther as he slid his sword back into it's sheath. Xuther turned and in a swish of clothes and the rustle of feathers, he and Set'su were gone.
Paul fell to the ground, too afraid to move. Guilt overwhelmed him as he saw his friend’s dead bodies around him. Tears slid down his cheek as he cried himself to sleep in the middle of a dirt road, the end of the road for his friends.

Zyanya slices her sword through the air cutting one trolls head off. The other troll is met with Cloud's back hooves straight in the face. The troll that got kicked lays sprawled on the floor with a broken jaw.
Having no mercy, Zyanya stabs the beast in the belly. It screeches with what strength it has left but then dies as Zyanya slices it's stomach open. The trolls bodily organs spill out onto the ground in a bloody mess.
Zyanya steps to the side and puts her sword back inside it's scabbard in the pack on Cloud's back.

Shenktar and Jaeta, still weary from the first two days get up from camp. It takes them about an hour to get ready, and they set off again towards the kingdom. Slowly, they crest a hill...
"Jaeta... Can you scout ahead a little? Make sure there isn't a storm or anything coming? This hill would provide a good place to hang until it would pass. Just see if there is one coming, and if not, we continue."
"Awight!"
A few minutes pass after Jaeta takes off, and she returns.
"Nofing coming. Lets go!"
"Nice! We go now."
After going over the hill, they reach a vast clearing. They realize that something is amiss. It's too quiet. Someone has been through here recently, as the area is quiet. Suddenly, a mysterious stranger appears nearby, almost catching Shenktar off guard, but Jaeta... She has already begun to become angered.
"Who goes there?"
No reply is heard, and Jaeta becomes enraged, not knowing what is happening. She turns into a larger dragon, and takes flight. She goes into the air and dives quickly at the stranger. She lands where he WAS, and looks around. The stranger is found near Shenktar!
"Holy... Dang, how'd you expect that?!"
Shenktar, no time to pull a bow, grabs an arrow from his quiver and (Does this Legolus [sp] style...) begins twirling it as if a small, lightweight spear. He takes it, and throws it at the nearby figure. He reaches for his bow after he throws that arrow. He casts a light fire spell, and shoots the arrow at the stranger, using his short bow. He readies another arrow, as the first arrow is hit by the fire arrow (It wasn't thrown hard, and my short bow shoots things really fast), is engulft, and disintigrates. All that is left now, is the arrow flying towards this stranger!
(OOC: WW, let's say that's you. My dragon is pissed, my arrow is coming towards your face, ablaze, and you have two seconds before I fire another. Bloodlust saw the arrow coming straight for his head. He cast a small water spell, exstinguishing the flame on the arrow, and then hit the arrow away with his staff.
Bloodlust then looked at the elf who was arming another arrow. Bloodlust, still having his palm out, cast a weak lightning spell. With the speed of lightning, the small bolt hit the arrow away from the elf's bow. Bloodlust saw the dragon, it was about the size of Fenrir. (ooc: Fenrir is a big wolf. Otherwise, I wouldn't ride on him. ^_^)
Bloodlust stood in a defencive stance, his hands on his staff which was infront of Bloodlust, pointing upwards.

...from the king of, umm, Salopor City. I glanced over it and it says something about going on some kind of egg hunt or somedin, somedin like tat."
"Give me that!" Ragathol said snatching the paper out of the Guy's hands. Intense concentration furrowed his bushy eyebrows as he perused the paper. Looking up, he shouted angrily,
"This thing doesnt even have the word 'egg' in it! Are you trying to sell me some kind of suicide mission here? Do you take me for an idiot?!" He stamped his foot in agitation as the Guy shrugged his shoulders taking up a long, hollow bamboo stick.
"Hey, I just read what I saw. Errr, or is it said what I read?" He tilted his head side ways with a dazed and confused look evident on his face.
"Anyways," continued Ragathol obliviously, "You got any more info for me?"
"Nope," he said throwing some logs into the fire, flames licking the stone sides. Taking a thin piece of wood with some brush on the end, he held up the wood piece to the fire lighting the end. Interested, Ragathol lazily sat down and watched the fluid movements of the Guy.
With the lighted end, he lit the bamboo end and inhaled deeply. After what seemed like an eternity and a strong WOOSH! later, the Guy stood up seemingly in more control of himself than before.
"Well, Ragathol. This quest that King of Salopor City has issued for all warriors seems like a wonderful way for you to manifest into true adulthood and shedding those years of your childhood behind like a well-worn mantle. Good luck Ragathol." With a hurried shove out the door, quite suddenly he was standing outside.
"Huh," he said a bit lamely before snapping too.
Packing up the rest of his belongings and supplies, he merrily started whistling up north towards Salepor City. A moment of disorientation made him realize that he would have to move in order to get there.
Many a groans later, Ragathol was off towads the city!

Shenktar goes over to this new fellow and asks...
"I am trusting you know... Who are you, and why are you here? Do you not know this area is dangerous?"
Jaeta, although still enraged, slowly calms down, and shrinks back to her usual size. She joins Shenktar, and stands behind him, sitting.
A few minutes later

"Sure. I guess we could travel together. It will be better if we meet anything that doesn't want to be our friend." laughed Bloodlust.
Bloodlust got up and looked at the sun. It was starting to go down compared to were it was about two hours ago and Bloodlust and Fenrir were going straight.
"Judging by the possition of the sun and judging by were we're supposed to go, we should head in the direction the sun is starting to go, which is West." Said Bloodlust, pointing his finger West.
"Do you want to head out now or get ready or what?" said Bloodlust. While Bloodlust waited for an answer, he took a rock, sharpened it a little bit with a throwing knife, and pointed the pointy end West so they'd know were to go.
Shenktar pauses. He looks around...
"I think we have too little supplies between the two of us. (Jaeta comes over and growls) Oh, I mean three of us. Sorry Jaeta. Anyways, I think we should at least move a bit more tonight. If we keep a decent pace, it should only take us two days at the most to get to the city. What say you?"
"I'm sowwy if I huwt you or scawed you..."
"Yes, and also, my apologies as well. I have become a bit hostile in my growing age. I much prefer to fight when I feel it, rather than see what is going to happen. I can do whatever you wish, but I believe setting out for a while at least would be the best option. We can always discuss our stories along the way, eh? At least we could have companionship through this!"
Shenktar smiles, and Jaeta gives a yelp, agreeing. She looks at Shenktar.
"I'm hungwy..."
"Here... Let me get you a little something..."
Shenktar pulls out a small puch, filled with a few delicious morsels in it...
"Here you are!"
He hands Jaeta the cupcake that he just pulled out. She swallows it with pleasure and sits back down on her hind legs, like a dog waiting for a command.

(OOC: I have plans for Paul, so no one screw with him for now, kthxbye :) ).
Set'su let out a cry as he and Xuther came out of the forest and into a lush field of grass. On the opposite side, was Salapor, it's tall towers reaching to the heavens. Set'su flew down to Xuther's shoulder, landing softly, quite happy to have reached the desitnation.

Ragathol walked alone in the dark and overshadowing forest. It was called the Forgotten Forest for it was where a gigantic battle had taken place where the demons had been turned back from the city in there failed, and last, counter-offensive when they knew all was lost. This forest region that covered miles around the city would be the closest they would ever come to taking the city forever again before they had been exterminated by the Paladins.
This particular path that cut like an arrow had been formed, by legend, by a titantic Hell-spawn creature that had thrown a gigantic boulder right through the trees in the vain hopes of reaching the city and crushing the walls down. The enormous rock had been stopped though, by an opposing boulder propelled by the forces of light. The two had crashed and the earth splintered where they had met crisscrossing over parts of the plain. The immediate area around the collision area was called the Lattice due its deep crevices and difficult terrain.
He had chosen the trail to reach Salopor City because it was the quickest way to reach it but the path was also a dangerous one. Any type of evil creature could leap out at him, discarded remnants of the once terrible demon hordes that had scourged the earth some thousand years ago.
"Hahahahaha!" he laughed merrily as he kicked a stone down the path. Rushing up to it, he kicked the rock along keeping his mind busy and away from the morbid thoughts of danger. Every shadow on the trail seemed to shift with suscipion.
Thankfully, the open plains around the City, reknowned for theire excellent grass for horses, were only a good hundred feet away. That oval light of yellow beckoned to him to hurry quickly.
He started running now forgetting the stone as it was kicked accidently into the forest. Things thrashed about as he ran faster. Growls and roars of rage threatened to overtake him as he rushed into the sunlight. He kept sprinting until he ran out of breath. Turning around now chest deep in the tall grass, he fancied he heard the sneer of a dark magician and the cackle of a witch accompaning it before both faded away leaving him out in the silence of the land.
Before him though, lay the golden gates of the city that could be seen clearly in the daylight. About a half-mile out from the gate, the Lattice was located, acting as a sort of defense forcing enemies to march around it giving time for the defenders to rally themselves.
He would reach the city in no time.

Sean entered the town earlier then expected. He walked into the "rising sun" inn. Thinking the innkeeper may have some useful knowledge he quickly sparked a conversation.
Sean: Well how are you today good sir.
The innkeeper looked at him with his one good eye, and gummed out his next words.
Joe the innkeeper: Say are you warrior of like?
The innkeeper scratched his overly large nose.
Sean: You might say that.
Joe: Well I've been trying to get this letter to my brother, but these damned bandits have been occupying the road. Say, could you possible take this letter to him, it is only about an hour hike there and back. I'll reward you five shillings and a room for the night.
Sean: Well I gladly will take this.
Joe grabs a rolled up paper from under his desk. Barely ale to keep his boney hands steady he gives it to Sean.

Set'su let out a cry as he and Xuther came out of the forest and into a lush field of grass. On the opposite side, was Salapor, it's tall towers reaching to the heavens. Set'su flew down to Xuther's shoulder, landing softly, quite happy to have reached the desitnation.

"I will join them in the heavens, I have done nothing wrong. And that man, that Samurai will give me my passage to join those I love!"
It was dark as Xuther walked along through the lush grass towards Salapor's gleaming lights. Nothing felt his presence, not even the birds as he went along, years of training to be silent was showing through at the moment.
Xuther gazed towards a forest on his right, nothing but dark outlines in the night. A few glistening eyes could be seen by the floor of the forest. I wonder what beasts lurk there. I am glad I am out here in the night, it seems they don't venture out here...odd.
Xuther turned back towards Salapor and noticed a small glow on one of the hills just ahead. Sit'su ruslted in his pocket at the sudden stillness. Xuther just pet his head lightly as the bird fell back asleep in the small pocket of his Kimono that had been made especially to house Sit'su on long journeys. Xuther's hand fell over the hilt of his sword as he crept forward towards the hill with the becon.
When he got closer he realized someone was up there, and they were not alone, he could hear the neighing of a horse. Crazy travelers, it's common knowledge not to camp on a hill and light a fire, all the beast in the vicinity will be on you like bees on a flower.
Xuther crept towards the fire, going no more then a few inches everyminute, making sure no one heard him.
Crack.
Xuther froze. He realized his mistake before it happened. He pulled up his foot slowly off the snapped twig and then placed it back down on solid ground. Rustles by the fire could be heard. Xuther's hand fell on his hilt as he waited with bated breath to see what happened.

Did I ever describe Salopor City? I don't think I did... anyway, it is supposed to be a HUGE city, massive, 6 feet deep walls that are about 25 feet high of pure stone, enchanted of course. It's gates are likewise enchanted, and the walls are very defensible, arrow slits and crenelations and the like. The CASTLE of Salopor is basically a fortress within a fortress...it has its own set of walls, and is huge...think Minas Tirith. between the outer walls and inner walls is the massive city itself.

The road led Sean through a thick swamp. Sean made it to the brother's house with relative ease. The door creaked open and a man who looked exactly like the innkeeper greeted Sean with greeted enthusiasm.
Franklin: Oh thank you so much. Everybody is afraid of the bandits of late. Please come in and have a drink.
Sean: I must pass for I have another quest I must embark upon.
Franklin: Well, then here take this shilling.
Sean thank you very much.
As he walked back something echoed through damp air. Sean brushed aside some brush hanging from a tree to see what the noise was. The noise came from a mere owl perched on a tree that was sitting in a murky pool of salt water. Something caught Sean's eye. The hand of a skeleton held a death grip on the mass hanging from the trees.
Sean: Well I guess we know what happened to the raiders.
Once Sean returned the innkeeper gave Sean five shillings, and a room like he had promised. After a nights sleep, and an early breakfast, Sean embarked toward Salopor City. At his current pace he should arrive by mid afternoon.

Tiron was riding on his stallion while reflecting back upon earlier this morning.
"Step aside knave."said Tiron. "How 'bout we take your head, your valuables, and your horse, then step aside?" said the would-be bandits. Tiron stood magestically on his steed, watching the bandits and their arrogance increase as he dismounted. They courage was only matched by their greed. These bandits, who were basically beggars did not deserve such a swift death, but he had things to do today. By throwing themselves at him their lives would be forfit. In an instant the bandits were sprawled upon the ground. There stood Tiron.. looking down at the head bandit. "Pitiful maggot." He scrambles to get away only to find himself secure to the ground, screaming from the pain of Tiron's weapon. Tiron did his death slower then he would dispatch most, but he made a final grand gesture by performing the coup de grace by scewring (cant spell that) the spear though his head. He then turned on the others. By the end of the day, 4 bandit heads lied on their weapons by the side of the road. "Worthless scum, one of them knicked me." With that he saw a small cut caused by a man's scramble to live.
Tiron finally returned to the present. "How fun that was. The look in their eyes was the most gratifiying of relieving them of their burden. Ahh.. highlight of my day." He rode with a renewed vigor. The call to the capital city rang for great warriors. He would meet that call with a pleasure.

Shenktar and Jaeta arrive in the town, and are taken in awe (Wait... Shit... Are those my characters in this RP? I almost forgot a second... I'm in like 4 with all different characters :p)
"Look at that, Jaeta! It's a giant city!"
"Wow... It's biggew than I thought!"
"Yes. Now it's time to get a room for the night, at least until tomorrow. Then we will find that castle. I see that our friend has left us, and has gone to that inn there. I wonder... Let's see if we can find another one. I have this strange feeling about him... It's not that he's evil, but there's that odd feeling in my bones about him... Let's search some more..."
After about twenty or so minutes, they come across another inn, farther in the city. He reads the title. 'Heavenly Dreams' It sounds peaceful enough... They walk inside and...
"Agh! A monster!"
"No wait, sir! This is my pet. She has been fully trained. No need for alarm. I am sorry if I have scared you."
"Oh... Alrighty. I'm sorry for that, but that dragon kind of scared me... As long as she doesn't burn this place down, or eat guests, I guess you are welcome here..."
"Thank you sir. Here's our money. I shall pay double, for giving you a scare. My apologies."
Shenktar lays a few gold coins on the table. He is handed a key that says 'Room 114' on the tag. They go upstairs, and find the door. He puts the key in, and turns it. The door slowly opens with a slight creaking sound. The room is somewhat spacious, and detailed nicely. He puts his belongings on the dresser at one end of the room. He takes off his outer cloak, and lays it across the chair in the room.
"Let's make ourselves comfortable, Jatea, for tomorrow begins our true test. This might be the last bit of good rest you get."
Shenktar turns around, and finds Jaeta at the end of the bed, already asleep, snoring.
"Heh... Sorry girl, didn't know you were that tired from our journey. Night night."
With that, Shenktar pulls out his good book, 'The Times go By' and reads a chapter before he goes to bed.

Bloodlust had walked into an Inn (hehe. :p). It seemed to also be a pub. Bloodlust looked at the sign of the Pub/Inn. "The Scab & Fist Inn". When Bloodlust walked over to someone, everyone near gasped in fright of the orc, not to mention his wolf companion.
A man came up behind Bloodlust and tapped him on the shoulder. The man appeared to be the manager.
"Sorry, but we do not serve orcs here. I think you and your mut should leave." said the man.
"I do not wish to leave. I ask you to shelter me for one night." replied Bloodlust, but Bloodlust should have known better than that.
"I do not want any comotion. Now LEAVE." said the man, starting to grow impatiant.
"Yeah, go away, you smelly orc!" shouted another man.
"Now everyone, settle down, settle down." said the manager as the people started to yell at Bloodlust.
"Now, orc, leave or I'll-"
"You'll do what? get torn apart by my wolf?" laughed Bloodlust.
The man looked down at Fenrir. He'd been growling at him ever since he started talking. Not one hair on Fenrir wasn't up and not one tooth wasn't visible. Foam started to drip from Fenrir's mouth. A redish glare came from his eyes and fell on the manage. Fenrir's growl started to get louder.
"You know why he doesn't attack you?" said Bloodlust.
Everyone except Fenrir was silent for a moment, filling the Inn with a low rumbling sound.
"Because he is loyal to me, he can sence my feelings, and he will fallow almost every command I give. If I really wanted, you all would be dead, most devoured or mangled by my Wolf." said Bloodlust.
"Now, will you be showing me to a room?" said Bloodlust to the Manager. Covered in sweat, the manager quickly grabbed a random key and told Bloodlust to go to that room.

"Gimme some bacon and a the biggest juiciest raw ham you have"
The bartender walked into the kitchen and bought him back a block of uncooked bacon and an extremely large ham. Beluril walked outside the tavern out the city gates and camped out there again. He did this because everyone was saying that they heard loud bangs and tuds coming form upstairs. After having some breakfast (sharing it with Fenrir of course) and a couple of ales at the pub, Bloodlust and Fenrir set out. They soon found a street made completly of shops, inns, and pubs. One of the shops cought Bloodlust's eye.
"The Armory" was it's name.
Bloodlust came over to the shop and looked at the owner.
"'Ello, orc! Wha' would 'ou like?" said the owner.
Bloodlust looked around the shop. Suddenly, his eyes fell on something that almost made Bloodlust drool.
It was a Large Two handed Double Edged Long sword with a Thick Gold-Steel Blade. The handle was Steel and Gold aswell.
"I'll take that sword over there." said Bloodlust, pointing at the sword.
"Oh o'ight. 'ere ya go. tha'll be...110 gold coins." said the man.
Bloodlust, reluctantly, gave the man the money.
But now he had a beautiful sword. He'd have to practice with it a little bit though...
On the back of the blade, it said something in a combination of Elvish and Dwarvish. Fortunaetly, Bloodlust could read both.
It said,
"Archangel
This sword was forged by Dwarf, (high) Elf, and Human Blacksmiths and was enchanted by Dwarf, (High) Elf, and Human Mages and Druids. The Sword is extra strong because of the blacksmiths who designed it and the enchanters made it so that if one touches the handle, they shall have improved strength. They gave the one who touches the handle improved strength so they can lift and weild the sword. The sword was then named after the one who saved us all. This sword is also said to have other secret enchantments on it."
Appearently, the owner couldn't read Dwarvish or Elvish or else the sword would have been worth more. Bloodlust continues on his way, putting the sword in his layers of clothes.

(OOC: Will you save me, or kill me? Dun dun dun.)
(OOC: Hey sorry for dissappearing ya'llz! I've been sooo busy it's not even funny. I've been working evenings and when I get home my mom tells me to go clean my room. I just got home from work right now (Yes I know, it's 3:12 a.m. in the morning my time :\) and I only have so much time to post cuz I have church tomorrow morning and evening. I'll try to get on tomorrow evening after church. Anywayz, here I go!)
Zyanya grins. Another one for Cloud! All of a sudden Zyanya's face falls. He said he wasn't a bandit.........Maybe he was just some traveller......Maybe he was going to Salopor City just like her! Zyanya remembers that she has some healing ointment in her saddle bag.
Pulling Cloud away from the man, she tethers him to a nearby branch and pulls out her ointment. It may not fix broken bones or anything but it can dull pain and relax muscles.
She grabs the ointment and sets it next to the fire. Next, she flips the man onto his back and drags him onto her pallet. As she sets him down she notices his long beautiful sword. Zyanya has never seen one like it. She reaches for it and sticks it back inside it's hilt for him.
Kneeling next to him, Zyanya grabs the ointment, and opens the lid. She pushes his hair away from his face and tries to figure out where he came from. Noticing a very well developed bruise on the side of his face from Cloud, she gently rubs the ointment in.
"Ouch.....Wow did Cloud leave you with a shiner...." Says Zyanya as she sucks her breath in her teeth.
As she finishes her work, Zyanya closes the lid of the contents of the bottle and puts it away. She washes her hands and lays down on the opposite side of her pallet. She may be sleeping on dirt but she doesn't care. She loves the outdoors.....

Beluril decided to enter back into the city and see if he could find a church or cleric to rid him of demons once and for all.
Beluril walked alond a small cobbled road with many peasents and villagers running into their house at the sight of him. He looked at the ground as not to make eye contact with them and he ended up infront of a huge cathedral. He walked up to the large wooden door with many carvings of religious idols on it and pushed open the door. He stepped onto the marble floor and walked up to what looked like a cleric by the stand of holy water.
"Cleric of good you must help me! Ever the since the great war 1000 years ago a dark mage has bestowed upon me demonic and dark powers. Is there a way for you to cure me?"
"Y..y..you are one of the elves that were around then?"
"Yes."
"If you wish to be cured hand over everything you have"
Beluril handed over everything. When the Cleric took the spear he gasped.
"This is a demon weapon! This must be purified. Preists take this weapon and purify it! My son you must take the holy water if you wish to be cured!"
Beluril cupped his hands and dipped them into the holy water. He lifted them out and drank. As the water dripped down his throat he was in agony as the demons were leaving but causing great pain.He fell on the floor having a fit and his whole life flashed before him.
OOC:dun dun dun. What will happen next? Find out next time on *corny theme tune* Laaaronars Quest.

The golden gates of Salopor City arched overhead as if they wanted to reach for the skies and take their goodliness and give it to the city. Of course, the doors were open so he walked in with the rest of the crowd and into the main street of Salopor City, King's Way for this road led straight to the King's castle.
It wasn't long before he got tired of walking and decided that the city life just wasn't for him. He walked back out of the city and across the moat. With a heavy sigh, he found a nice niche covered by a few large rocks near the Lattice that gave him clear view of who was entering through the gates while also concealing him from outside view.
One more night before the King's deadline would be met. A hawk soared overheard majestically spreading its awesome wings to its full fifteen foot span rising on the hot thermals of the plains.
Dusk soon fell and the lights of the city twinkled on. Torches crackled along the road leading into the city shedding light on the faces of those going in. Ragathol chewed on some jerky bored. Up behind him, a campfire could be seen with two figures passionately outlined in the moonlight dancing about. He laughed and thought about fond pasttimes with his own kind and of how they would dance the night, day, and the following night away.
He continued watching from his safe vantage point as the two fell to the ground and became hidden from view. A horse apparently, had kicked one of the two accidently probably frightened by their energetic movements.
The voyeur in him bubbled up in him along with the curiosity of discovering who these lovers frollicking about on the grass were all about. A thought occurred to him that these people might also be hearing the King's call. He quickened his pace until he could hear the woman say in an impassioned whisper, "Ouch... Wow did Cloud leave you with a shiner..."
As he Crouched along using his gnome-like stealth, he wasn't noticed until he sprang up out off the ground near the campfire and announced in a booming voice,
"Hear ye hear ye! I am Ragathol to you people and I have been spying on your encampment for some time now! Jealousy and boredom overwhelmed me and I was forced extremely reluctantly to come and see if what I was seeing was true!" He could see the girl kneeling over the man applying some sort of oil or lubrication while he was lying on the ground. Utter embarrassment was the first emotion he felt. The second he cared not to dwell on much longer.
"And it is true as I see you two making sweet love in the grass! Forgive my interruption! I shall await over yonder until you have completed your acts of self-less devotion to one another! Simply call out my name and I will arrive in seconds! Carry on!" He hastened away abashed by coming upon them in such a manner. His face blushed up like a cherry but he couldn't help giggling a bit as he relived similar experiences in his mind of body oil, ravishing gnome-ladies and strategically placed rainbow-colored psychedelic lanterns that were proven to be a potent aphrodisiac as advertised on the packages.
EDIT: Ragathol has Salopor City within his sights!

Bloodlust walked around the city. There were so many people. Most of them seemed not to care about Bloodlust and Fenrir. I guess it was normal for strange beasts to roam in the streets, yet not in buildings. Bloodlust was very bored. He had nothing to do now except roam.

Xuther slowly came to, his mind flooded with pain and memories of the last time he was awake. His eyes came open slowly with much effort, to a world of motion and fuzzyness. It took him a few moments to realize he was in fact not moving, and that it was just him. His surroundings slowly became crisp, the fire became vibrant, and the sounds of someones gentle breathing.
Pain surged through his every being when he tried to sit up. He fell back to the ground, panting as the pain numbed. All he could do was close his eyes and sleep again, with the knowledge the girl had helped him, and was someone to be trusted.

"Blasted Samurai" moaned Paul as he stumbled to the ground. His exhaustion was finally catching up with him. He hadn't slept for two days. His search for the Samurai was the only thing keeping him going, and the knowledge that the Samurai would be his key to a life he had known long ago.
Paul pulled himself back up, searching the ground for the Samurai's tracks. He shrugged off the exhaustion as he found the similiar tracks he had come to know as his path to bliss. Paul continued on into the darkness, following the tracks by nothing more then the moons light.

Sean made it to the beautiful city. He had never been to a big city before and hewas taken in by awe. Though he was slightly disturbed by the prostitutes flirting with him. He merely ignored them and went on his way.
