I have tried everything!! I have re-installed the game more times than I can count, I have re-installed my video card driver and upgraded directx. The game crashes after the Bliz intro and beginning movie, if I let it go that far, as soon as it goes, like it's going to the main menu, it crashes and kicks me back to Windows. I even went and bought another game because the first one had a bad spot on the disc and I thought that would fix the problem. It works on my friend's computer, who's is not as upgraded as mine. Any help please, I miss playing this game.

Maybe your computer just doesn't meet the minimum system requirements? Do you have a Mac or a PC?

It is defenetly not a computer problem. I used to play w3 tft with 300 mhz procesor voodoo 2 graphic card 32 mb of ram.... and so on... The problem comes sometimes when you have an antivirus installed.. dunno why.. try to reinstall it... that worked for me.... still i still get a message that sais the memory could not be "read" or could not be "written", but that happenes rarely...
Another problem can be and most shurely it is is your sound card... Warcraft 3 uses a 3d positioning sound and if your sound card does not support it or the sound card driver is not working properly as soon as the game starts to play "3D" sound the game crashes.... Try to reinstall the SOUND card driver....
Tell me if that worked...

Edit: Reinstall the antivirus not the game since that u already tried.
