I was fighting this pro, KiDiNe or something and i went to make an expansion. Suddenly 2 wraits shot my scv and the scv wasnt damage abit! Until the wraits change direction andand the scv again, then it dies.

Its either one of these rep. Between 2- the last. I sux bad T_T X(

i dont think thats possible...maybe ur 2 or three of ur scvs were mining the same mineral? and u just didnt select the one that was being damaged? ;)

You simply won't. :P Unless you want to find some less respected way... *Cough*cheating apps*Cough* to play the game without boughting the CD's, wich we in here (the WB's community) generally don't endorse to any extent.

ehheh....get a No-cd crack. But, as its being illegal, and probably the rules deny me of saying anything more, I will shut my mouth...the cds dont cost much or anything, but its still lame to go buy a new cd if you HAD the original cd, and still have the cd-key. Otherwise, pure cheating imo

That's why I have a CD images of both SC & BW in my laptop... just in case anything 'horrid' happens. :)

That and having to buy SC-BW 3 times already in the past. :P

i lost my cd centuries ago...its probably buried somewhere beneath layers of dust becoming ancient...lol...so cd-crack had been my life-saver...

Not exactly... If you burn the CD images and still use the same key you had in your original you won't have to resort to the "no CD crack". ;) I have my CD-Key copied into my laptop in a small encrypted *.txt file... Or instead of that, just try the key-grabber 'cause imo that is far more acceptable by common standards than the other option presented here. :poke:

Simply burn a image of both your SC & BW CD's and keep it stored somewhere around your HD.
Then get Daemon Tools (http://www.daemon-tools.cc/dtcc/portal/download.php?sid=01cff613eeec25991217db6f1a92199f) , install it and learn to work with the program as I did. Actually, that's how I can play my SC-BW maps everytime want to, since I carry my laptop almost anywhere during the wk and play at work intervals. ;)

Furthermore, I wouldn't advise ya to keep pushing the "No CD" agenda since it goes against at least one of this community's rules (http://www.warboards.org/faq.php?faq=faq_rules#faq_faq_rules_badtopics) (as many others around will stick to and say the same). *Wink, wink* :)

Bah, I don't care ;). How about just getting GameDrive and copying the Image to your hard-drive, and then you can play with no CD ;).

*Sigh* Actually, if you read a previous post of mine here (11th), you'd would've seen that I play SC-BW without the physical CD's (I run my images from Daemon Tools. :P)... most of the times that is. ;)

I bought the Starcraft battle chest three years ago. I created images of both Starcraft and Broodwar and have used them ever since, along with my cd-key.
Not only are no-cd cracks illegal, but they are horrible. You have to get a new one every time the game is patched.

Not the CD-Crack I... got. It works for all version over 1.11. I got it becouse Im tired speniding $10 on CDs, I already bought 3 copies of StarCraft becouse they kept getting scratched or broken... I thought it ok to use cracks as long as you own the game?

if you don't trow it around and putting the CD in the case everytime you take it off the computer, you might not have to buy it ... i only had 1 copy but i lost it while i was moving to my house, so i have to buy Brood War...
