let's see, what to chose:
-the new NVidia
or
-the new ATI

Personaly i like Nvidia Cards, and i have one the NVidia GForce FX5200 at 256mb, its a cool card, and its rather old, but new games still work. i never tryed an ATI, all my cards were NVidia and i was happy of them.
so...
whom do you like more.... the:
-NVidia Cards
or
-ATI Cards?

I use ATI cards. On an interesting note, did you know ATI has a 512 MB graphics card available currently? I saw it on ibuypower.com when I was customizing a system.

As does Nvidia.

Graphic card technology changes too quickly to ever have one company the benchmark for any notable amount of time. As of right now, Nvidia is on top with their SLI solution and their recently released 7xxx series cards, but ATI is soon to release the Crossfire solution.

but what really gets my goat is that, when at a certain point in time the top-end card from one manufacturer beats that of the other manufacturer on the bench, people automatically assume that this domination can be extrapolated to the low- and mid-end offerings of the manufacturers.

Hmm Radeon or Nvidia, tuff choice, I have never had trouble with either, they both rock, both have great color and frame rates and both company's update there drivers regulary. Always just the current price at the time that decides for me.

In my opinion, they are both good, but I prefer Nvidia, it works perfectly fine with me, a great graphics card. I like Nvidia's slogen "The way it's meant to be played." But it is all up to you which one you go for, I just prefer Nvidia.

While I will upgrade to the 7800 when it comes out, I'm content with my Radeon 9600 SE. Besides, Half-Life 2 was built for an ATI chipset(hey, on max settings, I get like 30 FPS)and that is one hell of a game. So yeah, I geuss I go with Radeon, at least, for now.

I hate all video cards. Just as you shell out a couple hundred dollars for a good video card, a better one comes and and all the new games need it to run at full quality.

I'm running an ATI 9800 All In Wonder Pro. It's the best and only non-oem video card I've ever had. (is "oem video cards" a correct computer term? :P) I have no experience with any other graphics card.
