Okay, this is wat I've been thinking incase Earthbound flops: I was thinking I'd make an RPG that is truly a Role Playing Game. The reason why I might want to postpone Earthbound is because, now that I think of it, there are too many hard core action RP’s out there. Every one. And all of them are being hosted by Rper’s more known than I am so the only way to get a good amount of people playing an RP of mine is to come up with something original and different from everyone else’s one-sided “Follow exactly what everyone else is doing” RP… No offense to those hosting those games. I actually like them, but I thought of something new in case Earthbound doesn’t meet my expectations.

Earthbound was good and all, but I feel like I need more time to think on it. Instead, I’ve been thinking hard on this new idea: How about an RP game that goes on in a suburban town. You know, wooden houses; relying on farms for food; people with stalls set up on the side of a dirt road; the works. Each person would be part of the town, doing what they want when they want. They’ll interact with the town and other people who inhabit he hamlet You know, like a real role. But it won’t be simply a dull load of people just making up stuff about stuff in the town and events. Being the host, I’ll control holidays, special events, the time. The town will go through earthly seasons like summer winter fall ect. I’ll design and take control of the place, but will be very lenient. I’ll listen to any suggestions and make sure my doings don’t interfere with something important that your character must do.

Also as years go by, the seasons will change and so will the town. Don’t worry. For all you action junkies, there will be plently of danger and things to keep you occupied

It will be an RP that will not be rushed or slowed since there is no main plot or deadlines that need to be waited for on other people. There is no anitial gole that you must follow. Choose your own path, and your own career (If Any). If something specific happens and someone never posts, it will be simply suggested that his character was not present at the scene (Unless there is a reason to wait), It will be a very laid back RP. You won’t have to do anything, but you can do everything.

Oh yea, and also, I need a way for caracters to cope with the time jumps. Time will sometimes pass quickly to change seasons and setting so I may make it so the characters don’t get older… I dunno. And also, to make the town populated, the players will be in charge of at least two characters depending on how many they think they can handle, but I feel as though it will be an RP that anyone can join cause you’ll never be rushed or need catching up unless your character is in the middle of something important. I think it would be ok to give a try.

So whaddya’s think? Long explanation for just an idea huh? Sorry… I tend to do that. If you agree with the RP, I won’t make a long elucidation like Earthbound's first. Also I'll think up all kinds of cool perks that'll keep it far from being dull and too realistic. I mean... if ya wanted realistic why would ya play a game? It won't be an average town.

I was away for three days, and next friday im going away for a wekk, and when I come back, I will be starting the "Iron Bitch" :P Shameless plugging!

I think its just going through a slow time with people having other things to do and whatnot due to it being summer, I know I'm not making rp posts as often as I have in the past due to multiple days at a time spent "out of it" courtesy of beer. Dont worry, by the end of august everything will be returning to normality.

I hope, so, use the time for keeping what we have got alive for a while, keep accepting new members, and lets see what happens in a few weeks.

I'm having hella network programs.

And to Sirion: Scratch me being in your RP. I'm kind of off and on WB now... Lots of things are going on, including random down times on the network. I'm lucky to be posting now... >.<

I don't want to hold up your RP, and I wish I could jump in, but as it is, with the network screwy, I'm not wanting to jump in late, or have to read what my character did while I'm away... 'Cause then it's not really mine... o.O

Oh well. Get in touch with you later, and maybe we can figure it out.

Oh, and my IRC ports got closed. I think that might have been what screwed the network up lately, as they've been closing new ports.
