need some triggering help

While playing on tft i came across mapper300's Humans vs Orcs. In the game, when you choose your hero and your hero a ppears, a dialog box pops up asking you to choose a weapon, this has stunted my progress with a RPG im currently working on. I want to know how to trigger the weapon into your hero's inventory. Ive read the thing on dialog boxes and i know how to construct them but i can't get a selected button to create a certain item for my heroes. if neone could help me out as to figuring how to do this that would be hella cool

you know how to make a dialog, right?
but your problem is the buttons?
