a computer in a dvd player box,should it be done? i dont think i will rip apart my dvd player or someone could make a box but i am thinking should it be done somehow by someone.

Why would you want to do that? First, I don't think you could fit any components in most players, they just don't have the height. Plus, they have Media Center PC's, which really bring the computer and home entertainment scenes together.

Well you could get small enough components and it can be done but it will be very cluttered so 50 degrees would be an average...
ah well ive seen it done before.

There common, have been for some time now.

People like them because they can play anything, just down load and play.

When you download movies they will often need re-sequencing to make them compatible with standard and even most modern DVD players.

If you use a cheap microform factor mb you can make a nice small case and play anything windows can and anything you can download a codec for.

Very true, I use my own laptop for just that.
But using desktop components you can make a faster PC for less than a laptop.
