I was thinking it might be fun for us to create an alliance then go kick some butt in the "Free for all" and "Alliance" games where we can create one huge team and go against other teams as large as the one we could create.
Please note it is against the rules to conduct team play in the "Tournament", "Primary" and "Limited" games.
The "Free for all" is running on till the end of September, plenty of time to get quite large in there.
But the "Alliance" game, witch I think will be the really fun one, starts a new game in exactly 1 weeks time.
I have created an account in free for all; my country is called "Kambis".
If your interested create an account, it doesn’t take long to get into a fight, just takes a few days to build your country up, bigger it gets, faster it grows and it will be a hell of alot easier to defend ourselfs when the wars start, there will be nukes and god knows what going every witch way :).

Is this game like Runescape, where you can see a map and move around, etc., or is it more text based?

Its a text based browser game, its automated, you don't have to type alot, but it is alot of fun.

You might be right, but if people get involved you will find it will be an ongoing thing that could last months, when posting about a good attack or requesting help I thought it would take on a kind of role play feel.

That’s the general idea, it's not like Utopia though, no one person becomes ruler.

Everyone just make there country, post your country name here, if you make a good attack or find some good "victims", post here about them.

If you need help because you are being attacked also post and we can see if we can watch each other's backs.

There are other teams just as big, best to be quiet about who we are with in the confines of the game for the time being.

When we have a few numbers and gained a little strength, then we will have a hell of allot of fun :)

The Alliance game starts in 1 weeks time, thats the one I think will be the most fun, no point joining it now for the last week of the current game.

The free for all game has just stated and carries on till sep29, I have an account in there and plan to create an account in alliance in 1 weeks time.

For those of you who are new to this game, keep in mind the more construction sites you have, the more buildings you can build per turn, the more buildings you can build per turn, the faster you can grow, and still have turns left for tech.
Just build a few research labs to start with, when your stuck and unsure research some business tech to increase cash flow.

I played this game about six months ago, I liked it, but I hated the fact that turns moved so slow... And I don't like being forced to go to the site every day to make sure I don't die... I hate dieing... But I guess I can play this again, so what date exactly does it start? I may find the time to join, if I do, my country will more than likely be called Paradian I highly doubt anyone is going to use that, also, my countries are always a Republic on the game, you can't change me from that, and I like researching in Warefare, I just forget alot of the stuff.

I played Utopia, I tried to turn alot of people to chose someone else as the King, but when people actually voted for her, she decided that she didn't want to be Queen, and I became hated really bad by the king, and he decided to attack me, thus I stopped playing. I hated the King, because he was rasicts, I hate rasicts.

Use your turns up every day, other wise they will be stored and you must wait for them again, and once 100 turns have been stored you will begin losing turns all together.

You will notice you are in protected mode for 48 hours after joining, I recommend selling the 100 troops you start with and spend the cash on building, on the second day start building your own missile turrets and troops, start building tanks and bombers on day 3 or 4, start hitting people for "land grabs" as they are called by day 6 :)

Don't forget to build just a few oil platforms early on to keep your army fuelled.

But most important, don’t go Tech AND Industry.

You have to choose to make a thriving economy; Tech OR Industry is the way to go.

I play Tech, no industry buildings of any kind (except what I might capture) just huge amounts of tech buildings, researching shit loads of tech, selling it, buying a shitload of weapons (witch are supplemented by my awesome level of technology, that’s the plan anyway)

If you play industry you have the advantage of not needing to spend time researching.

You must build huge amounts of industry buildings and pump out huge amounts of weapons, sell excess weapons and buy tech. Tech is very expensive.

Some people play farmers, some people play the oil; some people play the market, buying and selling the world commodities and make money that way.

You will need to look at your government type as well.

Here I like to be Communist, it works well with the tech, and it pumps up my early production.

There are many types of government, you only get 1 free revolution, if you make your country revolt again it can cost as much as 50% of your army.

There is much more to it than it seems.

It seems there are a few of us getting in for a game so it would be a good Idea for us to swap tactics and ideas.

Don't forget you get bonus turns for only logging in once a day.

Swirve hasn't posted the start date of the next Alliance game, it's usually 1 or 2 days after the end of the last game.

The current alliance game finishes on the 30th of July.

I created my account and then tried to log in, but it won't let me, saying my password was invalid. So I clicked the "I lost my password" thing and typed in my username and stuff and it said that the username didn't exist. Can anyone help me out? =/

Ok, that’s another days turns. (Day 2)
My country has spread out to 450 acres, there are 6742 missile turrets and 254 spies, I'm defenceless to artillery but I should not have upset anybody...........yet.
We come out of protection tomorrow guys make sure you have either industry or capitol to get those turrets up.
We don’t need to offer each other alliances with in the game , we know who we are, use your alliance slots for intelligence.
Offer alliances to other players of about = strength, don't attract undue attention from anyone more powerful, often some one offering me an alliance would be how I learned of there existence and me knowing of there existence was not good for them. Muhahahah :P

FFA is fine, its what we are all in.
Alliance should start on the 2nd of August, its faster and more fun.
You get a turn every 20 mins rather than 30.
