PS2 rpg's?

I am looking for a good rpg for teh ps2... it is really hurting for good rpg's.
I have the ovious ffx and not as ovious ffx-2. Any other suggestions for the people here?

The only one I can really think of for Ps2 is " .Hack/Sign " something like that

The only REALLY good RPG that I can think of is Final Fantasy 9, it was made for PSX AND PS2 (Separate Versions), PS2 has voiceovers and stuff...

None of the new FF games are worth buying, but are pretty good for a rent or something. I say check out Xenosaga. Solid plot. Good characters. Quite original.

Look for Disgaea: Hour of Darkness (http://www.gamespot.com/ps2/rpg/disgaeahourofdarkness/index.html).

Its not exactly "graphical similar" to games like Final Fantasy, but its quite a game to play I must say.

As far as RPGs simular to say Final Fantasy or Xenosaga, Star Ocean: Till the End of Time is pretty good (in my opinion anyway).

Disgaea should definately be worth your money however.

I'd say the four .Hack games are great games to get into. Extremely easy, but very fun. Also, any Final Fantasy is great. Mostly FF7 and FF Tactics. Lastly, try out Grandia Extreme. That'll keep you busy for forever.
