I notice there is a lot of RP'ing going on, and lots of time, while there are very good character descriptions it would be nice to have an actual drawing representative of your character. I know an artist that would be willing to draw and color such requests for, what I consider, pretty cheap comission work for very good quality art.

I have had two pieces comissioned in fact, only one of which is finished, and the other I have seen partly finished. They both look outstanding. His name is Javier, and he is both quick and detailed. Let me tell you, I threw the jpeg he gave me into Photoshop and even at 8x10 at 300 dpi, i still had to reduce the size of the image. It is top caliber work.

Seems interesting. While I admit his art is pretty good, I dunno about paying for something just to post in an RP that wil likely not survive longer than a month or two. I could just as easily sprite an image of my charicter's appearance. In fact, I think I'll do that now on. Sure it won't be in as great detail though, however the fact that the RP I submit a charicter design to probably dies in a couple of months just does'nt seem worth the investment to me if it's like, 9$ to 17$ like some of that guy's other works I saw on his site. Just my opinion, but I would like to see charicter pictures in RP threads. It would be interesting. Then again, it could be less, but personally I would not be really willing to pay more than 5 dollars for something unless it was "Omfg! that's the most beautiful thing ever to be created!!11!" type good. I dunno, just me.
