Well, I had ro redownload SF today due too re-format. I have everything what came in the Zip folder of SF. But, when I unzip it and click on the Icon to launch SF it gives me this pop-up:
This is the one trying to load it:
http://www.staredit.net/index.php?act=Attach&type=post&id=11768
And after it loads I get his error:
http://www.staredit.net/index.php?act=Attach&type=post&id=11767
Once I click cancel I get the first picture like 20 more times.
Then SF opens, telling me a bunch of the .lst, .sfb, .pal's, etc...
All of those files are right there with SF.
Believe me, I have searched through the SF forum in attempt to fix this. But, I haven't found anything. So, I now have a thread. Hopefully I can get some help and quick.

You want StarForge? Why is it written as Microsft office then?
Dark2004, head here (http://www.warboards.org/showthread.php?t=9407) for the additional files needed to run SF. :)
Ya do know that we have a thread for 'SC editing related tools', right? *Wink, wink*

Well, it this problem isn't only with Star Forge. It's also affecting my spyware blaster.
And I have no idea whay it's doing this. Which is why, I posted here. So, any suggestions.
About the required files, I have them. I'm not going to waste people's time unless I have too. :P

1st of all, wich anti spam/spy/addware tool(s) do ya use? And in wich way are / can they be connected with each other (use the same common files, are interwoven somehow, etc.), if ya know.
2nd - And please also clarify a tad more to wich problem it deals to that(those) tool(s). They don't run, don't clean, mess with SF (or with each other) when on at the same time, yada yada.
/me hopes that this may bring some ideas for future debate / assistance on how to solve this * :)

Well, it only happens when I try and run the file. Once I click on the icon that loads SF I get those pop-ups. The spyware file I use is from this site. It's called "Spyware Blaster". I click on that file, and get the same errors. I think, all I need to fine out is what's missing. Then I can solve my problem. So, if I can't solve my problem on this site, maybe someone can point me to website that is meant to fix problems such as this.
Dark2004, altough I read from other thread *Cough*"Love & Hate RPG"*Cough* that you're able to work again with SF, I still recomend ya to dl both SpyBot and Ad-Aware SE from that Neox's sticky to clean your PC from possible spam/spy/addware fest inside. Spyware Blaster is more of a prevention tool than a cleaning one, altough it nifty cooperates with SpyBot. ;)
After the 'Summer cleaning' that you'll (eventually) do, will see that it improved your 'puter performance at least a tad, since to me pop ups are a close resemblence that something is lurkin' on your PC.

Well, about 1 in the morning, MrrLL (someone on SEN) gave me a VERY good program. It fixed all of the problems. It has taken care of all of the things that were not correct. But, there is a couple more things I have to do with the hijackthis log. I'll post that in here in a little bit. But, once that's done. I'll be good to go!
Wich was the app anyway (linkage, please ;))? I'm always interested in good apps and maybe Neox too, to change his sticky up in here if it's worth it. :)

Here is one reason I love it so much:
It saved my C drive. I had 4MEGABYTES!Yes MB's) and the system was able to clean out, delete, move around etc... and free up to 51/2 GB's. With itm it comes with an active memory "free-er". While you surf the net, if you're running the correct program, it's freeing space while you surf!

Advanced System Optimizer

Mere clicky (http://www.download.com/3000-2086-10147659.html) for it's review, altough I don't know how much of use it can be since some of it's features are already dealt with by Windows OS's.
