I need some "general Prottoss" tips plz
And 1 more thing i have always been an admirer of the Zerg but i cant use them for shit can somebody plz help me with these 2 things.

For the Zerg one a build order and some tips on general Zerg stuff would be nice

That's still really vague. You might want to give us some specific situations that you want to counter. Besides, what race matchup are you talking about?

Protoss Tip: Have multiple pylons powering a group of buildings. If only one pylon is powering a cluster of buildings and that pylon is destroyed, all of your buildings have lost power.

Zerg Tip: Upgrade your Overlords. They're just too freakin slow if you don't.

There you have two very basic and general tips. =P

Meh, that's why you always build your second pylon next to the gate in PvZ...mutas harassing when you don't have archons/storm can be a total pain.

i think i've mentioned this before...but anyway, for zerg,
1) If enemy is protoss, Pool b4 hatch
2) If enemy is terran, hatch @ nat expo b4 pool
3) If enemy is zerg, i'd say double hatch at home, pool
4) If enemy is random, spawn b4 hatch would be safer than going fast expo hatch
For protoss...observers at critical points (e.g. near enemy base entrance, inside the enemy's base, expos) so that u keep track of his/her progress + build

On ZvP I Like doing fast expand before spawning pool...

But that makes you vulnerable to cannon rush or zealot rush. Which can hurt a lot if on close positions.

Want to give it a try? I can give you a nice arse-kicking whenever you want. Believe me, I can get a cannon next to your expo hatch when your pool is only 1/2 done.

true. But thats why you scout etc. The cannon is COMING, but if you have scouted you know he has a forge. then you must just take like 5-6 drones over there, and shoot the cannons down. if you even see a forge coming with a scout, well, i guess you should take some drones to your expansions, like i said. For newbies this will work perfectly, but for better players its only a slight harass, if they remember to also block it...

If the rusher is a newbie or the rushee is? I'd just block it behind the minerals with two pylons...

If you fast expo, you better hope to god that the protoss doesn't scout you out. If he does, he exerts his minerals to building up his army instead of teching, since you're trying to boost economy by sacrificing men for it.

Tips for Protoss:
I usually go 8 pylon then scout. Then at 10, I gateway. Once my scout arrives, I check out what they're doing. If it's a typical build, I'll usually go gateway at 12. Remember to keep pumping probes out. Get some zealots to hold the choke.

If they're terran, you would never 2gate before assimilator unless you're either zealot rushing or they're scv+rine rushing.

but in the other hand, if i know you are cannon rushing me, ill take drones to my exp right away, which might prevent the probe(s) making cannons. If you block the way to the cannon, ill start shooting an entrance to the cannon with drones, while making lings, and as fast as possible maybe 2 sunks. if you cannot get the cannon(s) right away down, keep them busy with your lings while sunkens are being done. 1 sunken with 80-100% of hp should easily take care of an cannon, or possibly two, but just mention me one map where you could block entrance by 1-2 pylons while having cannons in the behind, and with this strategy it couldnt be defeatable. No, i dont want an answer "oh yeah bgh!" or "hunters" OR "fastest $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$" it has to be proper maps

Hmm... you can block cannon behind minerals with two pylons on LT, Nostalgia, PTH, Requiem, and a few others. Those are the ones I can think of off the top of my head.

well, i meant two pylons AND 2 cannons. one cannon isnt such a problem usually

actually, i have a perfect example of this situation. =) whoever's interested can watch...lol...becuz the guy gas rushed me...so i thought hey why not? and did it back to him..lol~ mine was more successful~ :)

Nice replay, but there were a few odd points in it. I'm guessing he randomed, since you didn't wall at first, but what was up with the cancel/rebuild with your depots?

that was probably a mistake...:P...anyway, yeah he was random...so i thought of going 2 raks...but then i saw his probe and the close range...so i changed my mind

ah ha! Makes sense. I thought it was involving a strategy used within the game. I thought it meant something along the line of randomizing your attach technique. But I bet something like that would cost a lot of resources...

no problem ;) randomizing unit distribution in terran is common though...u would often see combos like scv + rines + vultures + tanks in tvp, and in 2v2 combos like rines + golis + vultures...i guess u could call that randomizing choice of units...

yes, you're very right! I wasnt thinking of all that when I posted that. Although, Protoss always go straight to Carriers/observers. Ha, that guy's observers barely helped him out once you got your wraiths, though. Have you ever encountered a Protoss player that "randomizes" his units? Like zealots/dragoons/scouts/archons etc? I don't know, with all my experiences of playing multiplayer melee games I always get attacked be either one type, or two types of units and thats it.

Well, I mass on defense and expansion with Zerg and Protoss (the two races I am (or was) good with! Yay!), so I'd just say to play by ear. I've got a big old Zerg strat for people who have hardly played as them before somewhere on SC.Org. Protoss I'm not too sure about. I used to be good with them, but I've lost it, so yeah. I'd say best to listen to those guys, but if you find that their strats don't work as well for you you should just go on newb games until you think you've got the hang of your desired race.

Meh, truly random combinations wouldn't work (probe/DA for example), but there are known combos such as carrier/ob/battery, Maelstrom/Storm, Sair/DT, Sair/Reaver, Goon/Reaver, Reaver/Cannons/HT, etc.

That might actually work against terran, you know. Broodling all the ground units, dark swarm all over the place so his air can't hit you, and plague his buildings to death.
