The first: heh, not bad, but not great.

Second: it's cool, though the typo is terrible, especially the purple. Change the colour of the purple text to something more complementing to the actual sig, and change the typo to soemthing different, maybe something techish? Dunno, just change it! :).

Heh, well don't just try it once, fool around with it, all my 'minimalist' sigs take hours, and a lot of the time is just fooling around with the layout / typo after I've done the graphics. But you are getting better :tup:.

Anyways, the first one is o.k , but the 2nd one has gotta go man. Kinda boring and the text doesnt fit with the overall pic. Furthermore, the purple... and it looks like it's not @ 100% quality :)

How exactly do you do good borders? I've tried putting a 1 pixel black line around the end but....well, let's just say that it didn't look too good. :(

Heh, usually it looks fine no matter the pic, unless you have some like pink sig...then I guess purple 1 px lines are your new best friend.

For the colors there you are gonna want a white border, or take a primary color from the sig and lighten it up a bit, use that as your border color.

A black line can work fine though, if the situation is right. But you'll want it a couple pixels away from the very edge, though.

No, make a 4-pixel that has kind of a cool shaded effect. 2 pixels of light, two pixels of dark.

I'd add just a simple 1 px black border, it won't ruin the effect at all, just seperate it from the background (in this case of WB), and make in have definite borders.
