Guys, I have a problem hosting custom maps. I have created games before, but friends told me they just couldn't join my game. It seems to be some sort of a bug. I'm quite sure my battlenet is quite up to date. Anybody got any advice?

First of all, don't double post just because no one responds to your thread. There is an edit button for a reason. Second I believe that the problem is in your router. When I try to host a game, my router shuts people out of it. If you want to solve this problem you will need to adjust your router settings. Also, whenever you connect to B.net it checks for updates automatically.

Yes, I used to have this problem. The problem could be caused by a number of things.
My problem was that we had recently switched from broadband modem to router, to set up a LAN network. This can be fixed by either opneing ports 6112-6117 on your router, or various other strategies. Help can be found on the Battlenet website, www.battle.net (http://www.battle.net) <--- (follow the link).
Hope I helped.
