World of Warcraft : Neat Screenies

Since I have nothing better to do, I'm going to post all of the neat screenshots I've found via IRC, forums, fansites, etc. etc. These aren't going to be your average "and this is a building, and this is a character" screenies, just the neat ones. If you'd like to throw some cool screenshots in the thread as well, please do!

This is a great screenie of a place called Booty Bay in WoW. Any WC3 players will recognize Booty Bay as a WC3 map. It's back! And it looks cooler than ever!

I think Booty Bay looks pretty nice, but the rest are just a bit okay. Guess not that funny. . . the abomination is alright, but I hope Blizz changes how the entrails look, as right now, they are very flat and sad-looking.

Actually I don't think I would ever want to play WoW anyway. I mean if I wanted to play computercraft, then I would have just played WC3's single player campaign over and over again. Seriously, that is all you will basically do in WoW is just creep and creep and (you guessed it) creep, what kind of fun is that going to after a month or so?

Perhaps you haven't read up much on the game ^_~.

I suppose I could say the same thing about FPS games, as all you do is spawn, kill, die, rince and repeat. Or racing games, since all you do is press the gas pedal until you get to the end of the track :p. Nay, nay, just poking fun.

I'm sure MMORPGs aren't for everyone, but there is much more to WoW than simply 'creeping'. And it wouldn't exactly be like RTS creeping, as your options in battle are totally different from that of a roleplaying game.

Whatever tickles your fancy (finally got to use that phrase! Yeah!), I suppose.

EDIT: You know how almost every article about WoW managed to cover that one abomination quest? Well, I finally found a picture of it actually happened. I just about cried when I saw this, it's just so beautiful! (link may be down depending on if his server is up).

I don't actually have any version of WoW, all these screenshots are screenies I've gathered through being on IRC chats, browsing the intran and such. They're from other people playing WoW beta and taking pictures ^_^.

Actually that "bear thing" is just a bear carved into a tree. It's no cave. It stands in the middle of the Night Elf city of Darnassus.

If you take a right at the tree, you will hit the Druid Cove.
