I wouldn't know since I don't use AIM, nor would I want to use anything from AOHell, either.

LOL, AOHell, that's funny, I use AIM express because AIM isn't installed on my mom's laptop.

I only use AIM because that's what everyone at BF was using back in the day when I got it. However, I rarely initiate conversations with anyone but a few people, as I don't know who most of the people on my AIM list are.

Anyway, on topic, I have no clue what you're talking about :tu:, what with the no ads, and the downness?

I have AIM and MSN, though I normally use AIM to bug BF and WB people. MSN is normally for family and friends that I know in "real-life".

As in the ad boxes were blank? Or were they just gone altogether?

I'd be much more surprised if the latter was the case, since the ad boxes are part of the program code.

Either your connection or their servers were having issues. The ads are downloaded off a server, just as your buddy lists are. If the server can't be contacted, the client can't download ads, etc.
